It was the great plague of London in 1665. "Ring a-round of roses, a pocket full of posies. A-tishoo, a-tishoo, we all fall down." First symptom was scarlet rings on the skin. People carried roses and smelly flowers to disguise the stink of death all around. Violent sneezing announced the final phase of the illness. And then death. Lots of history in those nursery rhymes.
@earthtruthhunters16423 жыл бұрын
I believe the RING refers to a ruby colored ring that formed around the victims neck who was stricken with Black death. The pocket full of posies it seems were a handful of wildflowers that were stuffed into the pocket of the victim with the thought that somehow the scent of the flowers would aid the recovery. Ashoo Ashoo- we all fall down- referring to an apparent sneezing fit that came upon the victim just before death- of course- we all fall down refers to the sudden merciful death of the victim. They was living in weird times then.

It's funny how fate and reality always twists poorly minded plans, isn't? A virus isn't a weapon. It's nature, or part of it. And as that, it evolves, changes and sometimes is hard to predict. So you release it owning a vaccine for it, thinking on the money, the power you can amass, but suddenly it mutates and your vaccine is useless, and when you realize what you've done, there's a plague over the world that can't be controled anymore. Suddenly society stirs, all manner of clowns and charlatans taking over a scene it should be yours, cheap salesman takes over the money you should be controling by now, fueling the chaos that is slowly, but relentlesly spreading everywhere, and that world that it took you so long to build and dominate crumbles, as a castle build over sand. The end is nigh, but not the end of the world, rather than the end of your world. With that tool that should have bringed you the final victory, you have shoot yourself in the foot, and now the wound is infected. You can't walk anymore, you yell but no one's around, but vultures, flying over you, waiting. You thought you were invincible, that no one could end your all mighty reign, but in the end, looking for more power and money, eventually, you killed yourself. But nah, that can't happen in real life. Isn't it?
@demonlordomegaacepilot70902 жыл бұрын
Yes but the conservative party is not the one that launched the virus or wanted all these deaths in 2020 to 2022, its the deep state and the demon rats and the rhinos in government that are the puppet to the puppet master, the "deep state". Hollywood or British hollywood painted conservatives as the bad guys in this movie. Which is absurd. But yes this is turning into a documentry. Maybe this movie was made into a warning mixed with subliminal messages. Like even the game Homefront talks about a deadly virus, even tom clancys book RAINBOW 6 warned about a virus, it seems these authors knows more about whats going on than the average joe can fathom. Not to mention big pharma is making billion of billion of dollars qith tese so called vaccines of death.

@mirceazaharia20943 жыл бұрын
@@larrymitchell6825 Alan Moore, the writer of V for Vendetta, IS a leftist. He is showing how an oppressive, dictatorial regime could come to power through creating problems and providing the solution to those problems, as well as ruling through fear. It's called Hegelian dialectic. "Obey us or the British people and nation will fall apart due to the virus / lack of order / terrorists / depravity. These measures are PATRIOTIC. These measures are NECESSARY. These measures are for YOUR SAFETY. These measures (censorship, arrest of political opponents, surveillance, Secret Police, curfew, martial law, suspension of Habeas Corpus, spying our own people, state control of all media, uncle Dave being grabbed in the middle of the street by armed thugs with an unmarked van because he called the Dear Leader a wanker but was overheard by someone and reported) are for YOUR OWN GOOD." People, when they are afraid, become dumb, panicky animals. The Americans, for all their big talk of their love for freedom, accept more and more restrictions on their second amendment rights nearly every year. They accepted the PATRIOT ACT after 9/11, which allowed the federal gov'ment to intercept all of their calls, emails, text messages, to spy on American citizens as they please, to arrest without warrants when they want, all for the purpose of chasing the boogeyman of terrorists around every corner. Yes, there are terrorists. Yes, they are scary fanatics willing to kill innocent in great numbers, while screaming ALOHA SNACKBAR. No, their attacks aren't that frequent. You are more likely to die from a plane crash or a domestic accident in your own home than from a terrorist attack. And yet the Americans thought that it's worth it to allow their privacy to be intruded upon for any reason, just to have an increased ILLUSION OF SAFETY. Because they were afraid, and did not think things through. The Norsefire party in V for Vendetta appears to be far right. That's not that important. Extremists of any sort could and would do this because they think they're justified, trampling on anyone and anything in their way. Extremists of any kind, including the far left. The point isn't to point at this and say MUH FAR RIGHT NOTSEES, HOW EVIL, ORANGE MAN BAD. The point is that extremists and power-hungry amoral bastards are dangerous, and that freedoms, once given away, cannot be easily regained. So don't give in to fear, and protect your freedoms. Because nobody else will.

Using the religion of wokeness to demonise every one with a different thought painting them as arbitrators of hatred and encouraging violence against them. Instead of defending and protecting the right to practice and converse on their beliefs they try to silence them and punish them for their thoughts and practices. It is movies/books such as this that showed us how important the right to free speech is. Our ancestors fought for years to achieve and offer that right to us and its a right worth fighting for. Other insidious infiltrations of European political parties by the extreme right with their racist and xenophobic policies is further evidence. Neither would I consider the Democratic Party to be left wing. The US suffers from rampant capitalism at the expense of those at the bottom end of the economic spectrum. I don't see the Democrats changing that anytime soon. Even the UK's tory party, considered to be one of the most right-wing in living memory is still to the left of the Democrats.

This movie is brilliant-a compelling story about how a totalitarian gvt. could come to power, and how it tried to guard that power. What makes it terrifying is how we have so many parallels in our society today: the fear of the unknown, the evil calculations of those seeking power and the abuses of that power, the seemingly benign indifference to the erosion of our rights. If we keep letting it happen, it WILL happen, unless we wake up.

The analogy with coronavirus is flawed, cause it is way to harmless in comparison to the virus in V for vendetta. But what I found really troublesome is, that the principles stayed the same nonetheless. If we had a virus like in V for Vendetta , a virus which really means Business, I fear that is exactly how it could and probably would turn out. That’s the scary part and that’s the one fear I took out of the corona pandemic... all our common sense, all our fragile way of living can go down the bin very quickly in favor of the one single solution some radicals will offer us.

Exactly. A virus that by and large is not that dangerous in our country has been so heavily portrayed as the end of the world type shit, hardly anyone stopped to think if it was true. We let it happen. And so they got away with their fear campaign.

No matter how often writers, film makers, painters, etc, warn us about how easily democracy and freedom can be lost through fear... we ignore it. This film isn't a play book or a guide. It's a warning to the rest of us to watch for these things and stop them. 1984 was just as much a warning of the exact same thing. The US founding fathers wrote extensively in public opinion pieces about ALL of the elements of this film. Democracies for thousands of years previously rose and fell because of these exact same things.
