The funniest thing is if Blaire had just apologized after the whole legal eagle thing, never made a video, and ignored any other tweets, this whole thing would have been forgotten. The Titan submarine imploded a month later and the whole Miranda Sings controversy would have buried her initial tweet. Her ego led to her downfall.

Blair had a "Get out of jail free" card when people turned to Colleen Ballinger. But having 'main character syndrome', Blaire couldn't stand the attention not being on her. She just HAD to do something to make people focus on her again.

As someone who used to watch Blair's videos. The thing that tuned me against her was just realizing that she a massive hypocrite. Her entire channel was about putting a lens on the horrible things businesses do. But it feels hollow coming from someone who we've now learned is just as corrupt.

It's not just ripping off smaller MLM creators. As her channel grew and she branched out, I started to notice about a month delay on topics smaller niche creators had done before she covered them. Content farming off the backs of other people's labor and passions.

Toxic, abusive people know how to weaponize systems against their victims. Blaire tried to use to police against Wonder by telling them he was suicidal and had a gun. Idk. the age difference does it for me. She's in her thirties and these men are starting their careers. OZ media talked about cleaning for his 21st birthday. Among all the other manipulations we have seen come to light, I figure she's got her fingers in the legal paperwork of the house. She's striking me as a predator who found young people to 'mold' and they're now at fault for speaking out against her.

"I don't understand how...." She's a malignant narcissist. She literally has zero empathy. Her sole concern in life is how the world sees her and will do everything in her power to degrade and devalue the people who know her best who have a voice the world can hear while uplifting simps or people who "don't want to take sides" who invariably push a view that supports her. There is nothing else to do, just let it go and accept that you f'ed up and now you're facing the consequences of your actions. I used to love illuminaughttis video's and thought she came off as a genuine person. It sucks to see how dark and manipulative she is. It's tough to see how easy that people will abuse the good in you just to gain some power to hurt others. A real bummer and I'm glad the truth is out.

Madison has always seemed like a really genuine, lovely, sweet person. She had trouble with Blaire being so horrible to her because she can't comprehend that someone she liked would be so mean. I don't think Madison has any capacity for cruelty or duplicity or bullying or anything like that. And when the way your mind works doesn't even consider those behaviours as an option, it's difficult to understand that someone is being cruel just because they can. You always want to see the best in people and you accept their excuses for their behaviour. Sadly bullies and abusers of all stripes tend to look for people like Madison because they want to drag them down to their level.

People would really do all that instead of coming forward with an apology 💀

She will take insincere accountability eventually as a last resort, don't let her pull the wool over your eyes again. This isn't like some one off mistake she made, this is her as a person. Her malice spans years, not moments.

The fact that even now she doesn't realize she needs to get help, is scary. It's not shameful to have a potential personality disorder, but it's shameful to not want to do anything about it, especially as someone who has been and still is an a position of power. I know she wouldn't do it out of consideration for the people around her, but she's certainly capable of doing it for herself. It's not in HER best interest not to be able to keep a functioning interpersonal relationship, and to watch everyone around her slowly leave. She still hasn't realized that being vindictive and manipulative won't solve, or even mask any of her problems, because the people she hurts have a voice and a support system. I hope for the sake of anyone who has the misfortune of dealing with her, that she eventually realizes her problems can only be helped by working with a professional, and putting time, effort and responsibility into understanding why she's like that and working on it.

I find Blair absolutely amazing. I have never in my life seen some one annihilate their career in such a stunning fashion. I've seen faster (See the aids tweet from a plane) But the lengths she is going to in order to rip her career apart. The lengths she will go to in order to drag her name through every particulate of mud is stunning. Her actions should be taught in business schools as what not to do. An absolute class act on being a complete and utter smeghead.

I'm not so surprised that of all the things to get her, it would be claiming someone else was copying her. Narcissists are often so far up their own asses that they assume everyone else who poses a threat thinks the same way they do, and will try to do the same things. Thus, they often end up calling foul on their own playbooks. I figure every time she's said anything unfounded about another person, she's really showing us a part of herself. As an aside: I'm also a writer, and do scripts for YT videos on behalf of another channel (totally unrelated to MLMs and all this, thankfully), and her methods disgust me. I'd sooner throw my career on a sword than knowingly plagiarize someone else. In fact, part of my usual research method is to pick 2-3 videos other people have done on a given topic, so that I can approach it from a different angle that's complementary or hasn't been done before. Even though we're all making videos on the same historical / real-world topics, and the facts are all the same, it doesn't take *that* much effort to stand out. If you even bother to read the sources and write your own script, it'll happen on its own! No extra effort needed, Blair!

The moment you take legal action and lawyers get involved the worst thing you can do is speak about it online. So acting like nothing is happening is the correct choice even though it can be frustrating.

My speculation there was a cosigning agreement and that is where the legal issue is. Also, Blair is excruciatly frightened of the information Oz has getting out and is doing everything to prevent it. She started with an appeal to emotion to manipulate Oz in the Exposed video. Then sent C&D letters to him and his father. Is fighting in court over some housing issue. Someone I had never interacted with before had messaged me a different photo of the exact same area in my photo, saying "I found you lol". Never again. That scared me to my core. I will never give someone like that any more ammo.

Part of me is like "WTF this is getting to be larger than the Creepshow situation," and then I remember this is the same lady who I unsubscribed to a few years ago because some of this behavior was leaking through and her response to the CWHM drama was such a nonsubstance community post in YT that she hid a few weeks after so many people expressed disappointment in her. Knowing now that Madison was expecting her first child while sick during that stressful situation too made me more upset.

I used to watch Illuminatii's videos non stop. I loved the formatting, the voices and how I could hear the information while washing dishes or when I'm just bored. When I heard about the situation, I didn't want to know about it, but 2 days later I watched a few videos on it. I saw multiple people talk about how awful she is even though I had seen her (in those videos) to be really straightforward and honest. I unsubscribed to her about a week later and watched the response video to the allegations. The people commenting on that video complained about how that was too much information and many people hadn't even heard about the situation until she said something. Since that video, I haven't been watching any more of her videos. It just feels wrong to watch them now after all that happened. Now I just like to watch videos about her well-deserved downfall. I do hope that she can learn, but I wouldn't give her another chance. She seems to have had many already. Illuminatii has dissapointed me and many of her fellow daily viewers. (I feel very bad for Casper. I hope he's doing well at least. Casper still deserves the world even if his momma doesn't) I enjoyed this video very much. It feels genuine and the love you seem to put into your merchandise is very admirable. Great job.

To make things even more disgusting, her alleged supporters had been victim-blaming as an excuse for what she has done. Funny how that is the same kind of conduct that people engaging in shady business practices do.

She's a bit more than just a narcissist. She has to be a full blown psychopath. Narcissists generally know when to back down. This is self destructive behavior. She believes she's so perfect, so infallible that she's going ram this thing into the ground and keep going until she ends up in prison. I mean, going after an experienced lawyer over a nothing burger and plotting this wrongful revenge on past associates that did nothing to her. She's like a silly Batman villain that just won't quit. She should have quietly walked away months ago, but she won't stop until her perceived foes are completely destroyed.

I'd argue that the 1.37 mil isn't even as big as it sounds. Her peak sub count was 1.71 mil; that's a 340k subs lost. Like you said, her videos were regularly getting between 250k-500k views, and now they are getting around the 25k mark. The loss in views roughly correlates to 1 view for every lost subscriber, so it's likely a lot of the remaining 1.37 are either inactive or bots (there were accusations about her botting at one point)

Also gotta wonder how many of her current subs are inactive - and/or bots. Allegedly she has had a history of the view and/or subbotting that she's accused others of.

When all of this was first coming to light my thoughts were, "Well, I guess some people had trouble working together and tempers got high. Drama, move on." Then I watched the Click's video and especially OneTopic's video. I unsubscribed to Illuminaughtii and blocked her channel. I just finished reading the Nevernight Chronicles by Jay Kristoff and am currently reading H.P. Lovecraft's short stories. Once I finish those a colleague gave my a list of cyberpunk novels to check out.

My theory with Blair is that the crying plea in the video was specifically so that OZ media wouldn’t speak out. She knows he has the most dirt on her and more stuff that could ruin her than any other person. I think she hoped she could cry like that to guilt him but he saw right through that manipulation and even called it out directly in Wonder’s video. I think Blair is most likely Oz’s landlord and that’s why he says she’s going after his home.

I feel terrible for Oz, but I'm not surprised Blair is taking legal action against him, for a couple reasons. Multiple people have mentioned, subtly and bluntly, that Oz was terribly treated by Blair and that he's been through a lot. Oz himself said at one point that there are parts of his relationship with Blair that no one is ever going to know about, because he doesn't want to talk about them. Considering the awful things we already know she's done, and how much time Oz is putting into his video, whatever he knows about her must be BAD, and A LOT. Blair has to be desperate not to have the rest of her secrets get out and crumble what's left of her career. Plus, narcissists hate losing control over someone, and Oz and Wonderstruck were the two people she seemed to have the most control over, hence why they've been retaliated against the worst. Blair tried to lure Oz back in with her crocodile tears and it didn't work like it had in the past, so now she's trying to crush him instead.

Even if she DOES take accountability, literally NO ONE will recognize and accept it. So why bother?

I feel like while Madison being pregnant is definitely important to her story and experience, and the fact that she couldn't afford more stress is also important, it doesn't necessarily make this worse for me personally. Because I feel like what Blair did is fucked up no matter the other circumstances. Like, Blair is evil. Completely evil. The victim being pregnant and needing to not be stressed is definitely important and I'm not trying to minimize it. But like... even if any possible victim had an otherwise perfect life and no stress or health concerns, Blair would still be evil. She's a monster.

Both 'Cruel World Happy Mind' and Savannah Marie seem to be physically beautiful, luminously positive women--both inside _and_ out. The same cannot be said of Blair Zon. I am utterly appalled at the person she has unmasked herself to be. I regret watching her videos for so long. I wish I had *never* subscribed to her channel. I feel unclean for ever speaking about her in a positive light.

She only lost about 10-15% of her viewership but her videos are barely a fraction of what she used to get. She was getting 250k viewers daily, minimum. Now she's getting less than 20k. That wont ever recover.

People who demonstrate similar behavior patterns, as those in display in the subject's actions, are some of the least likely to seek treatment. They are the most likely to burn their reputations and wind up as alone and forlorn on the outside as they are on the inside. They think it's funny when people tell them they need help. They do need help, but it's no one's responsibility but theirs to seek it. At least, of course, until society, through the courts, or socially, brings consequences. They can be defeated, if everyone in their circle turns against them and provides a united front that allows them no escape. Leave them nowhere to turn, warn others against them, and close off all means of escape. They don't have a sense of self, that's the problem; it's not that they have an ego, it's that they don't. It's a very twisted and (ultimately sad and depressing) path that leads them to the sense of emptiness in their own person. A reasonably mentally healthy person apologizes, because they are aware of their value to others. Public apology, if it's genuine and open, restores social credibility in a way reverse to doubling down on a mistake. A person displaying the same traits as our subject doesn't understand their worth; it never comes up for them. They have a superficial understanding of it. They lash out, they are vicious, because they assume that that is what everyone else does in the situation. They are always the victim, and, as far as they're concerned, every damaging act against another is perfectly reasonable. This is the animal you're dealing with. I tell you these things because with this knowledge you can destroy a narcissist and protect your society against them. You can also protect yourself against your own narcissism. We all have it, to varying degrees, in the same way that we are all precancerous. It only becomes pathological in some. They need help and healing, but they can only get it from people whose only stake in their life is in healing a sick patient. It's not up to any of you to forget, forgive, welcome back in - or heal or love them. Nope. They need to be consistently aware that those bridges are burned, and that they're going to have to try out their healed self on a completely new set of reasonably mentally healthy people. For those the subject has wronged, and those that have seen the subject do wrong, your only obligations are to protect yourself, warn others, and provide a united defense. You must be firm, as firm as you are with a toddler, for their sense of self has never developed past that, and you are under no obligation to repair it. Besides Oz's video, I'm also looking forward to HBomberguy's video. I got to see an early draft of it because my fiancé subscribes to his Patreon. You may recall HBomberguy as the individual who clapped back at Blair's tweet at Legal Eagle by pointing out that she lifted a section of one of her videos verbatim from an existing documentary without properly indicating that it was a quote, thereby giving the impression that the words were her own. Well, it turns out that she does that all the time! I was shocked to see how much of her content is literally copied and pasted from somewhere else. I feel tricked, honestly.

With the Tyra Banks thing, it would have been so easy to be like "look, there's this smaller channel called ... that did a doc on this, I'm also doing a doc on this because it sparked my interest", audiences don't really care that much about double stuff, I watch true crime stuff I have already seen all the time from other channels, because every person brings their own priorities and insights into a topic and it's always interesting. It's just that she is too much of a bad person to even conceive of doing it like that.

Blair has made it clear on her videos that she doesn't like kids, I wouldn't be surprised if she would've found satisfaction in watching Madison lose her baby because of her.
