Sometimes all we need is a bowl of creamy smooth Vanilla Pudding to satisfy a craving. It is amazing how you can take everyday ingredients like milk, eggs, sugar, and vanilla, and transform them into a dessert that tastes so good. It is easy to make, and it is delicious hot, at room temperature, or even cold. It looks so enticing when served in pretty bowls with a dollop of softly whipped cream and a sprinkling of toasted nuts.

Hi Stephanie. If it wasn't so late I'd run downstairs and make this right now. Looks delicious! Also I wanted to mention that vanilla bean paste has no alcohol in it like the extract does. At least mine doesn't. However I do think that the vanilla extract with the bourbon taste better. Maybe its cause I love bourbon. 😁

I've used vanilla bean paste, I never thought of the seeds showing off in a pudding. I always have to smell it when I open the bottle, best smell, even better than chocolate, at least to me.

Hi Stephanie! I made this today and it was delicious! superb!! I’ve refrigerated it for about 7-8hours but it isn’t that firm as I thought it would be. I have some leftovers and will try them again tomorrow but nonetheless, it taste super good!

I make pudding just like this, and in early September, the Paw Paws become ripe... I mash the flsh of 2 Paw Paws with a fork, mix it in with the vanilla pudding when it's hot, then put it into a graham cracker crust and refrigerate. Then I add whipped cream to the top after it has set, and I have Paw Paw cream pie.

Your recipe calls for the ingredients of two nine inch pans.. If I cut the recipe to half, can i make the halved recipe of vanilla cake in a seven inch pan.. Hope you will clear me
