Joker LOVES Batman. Like I actually think he's in love with him. So I wouldn't put it past him. Lol he pretty much does everything to get his attention, hates Tim Drake because he's the only Robin who Joker hasn't truly traumatized. And he does THAT to get Batmans attention. Read 3 jokers. Joker forces Batman to face his trauma JUST so that Joker can be the cause of any and all of Bruce's pain. Dude is obsessed.

I think the opposite. I think that they thought that the 'menacing' "I've had practice juggling my multiple personalities," was meant to make people be like "He's so cool! I want to see more of him!" Young Justice was good in the first two seasons, but damn, was it inconsistent. Also, I don't care what anyone says, Miss Martian, Kid Flash, and Beast Boy sucked in that show.

It would make sense since it was all about the young heroes. It's not about Joker since he's mainly Batman's enemy. The team's enemy was basically The Light. Joker was a pawn for the light.
@mattwo7
@mattwo7 3 ай бұрын
@@water6teendragon The Light was mostly comprised of enemies of adult heroes. Vandal Savage is the enemy of several reincarnating and immortal heroes as well as the Justice Leauge. Lex is Superman's arch-nemesis and card carrying member and often leader of the Legion of Doom just like Joker except Joker is Batman's arch-nemesis and far as I know, doesn't usually lead the Legion. The version of Queen Bee Young Justice's was based on was an enemy of Justice League International. Suprisingly Klarion is actually Etrigan's enemy rather than Fate's though he's not too very consistent (fitting of a lord of chaos I suppose). Deathstroke is the enemy of Batman, Green Arrow and the Justice League and Ultra-Humanite is another Superman villain. Zviad Baazovi was the only one who was actually an enemy of the Outsiders.

My main problem with the Tattoos is that they are too simple and way too many. Joker always been (the good ones at least) about the show, the entertaiment. If he were to get tattos he would probably one of those Yakuza style back tats but like a big cartoon fish with a stupid smile, wearing a fancy hat and... maybe brushing its teeth with a batarang. Joker is a sociopath and a murderer but he is also a showman.

@@Who_Tye709 - He only had the dragon in one issue of *"All-Star Batman & Robin"* by Frank Miller (the story is notoriously weird, but there is some fantastic art by Jim Lee, who also did the Joker tattoo on the cover, and in a couple panels of issue #8) The funny part is that Jared Leto's Joker actually rocks the exact same dragon tattoo on his back (but in black-and-white instead of red-green), but in the cut of the movie we got we only see it a bit after he jumps into the acid vat to save Harley, and his shirt starts to melt... There is some Behind the Scenes footage of that moment from different angles with more light, where we see more of the dragon tattoo than we do in the movie proper. It was also confirmed that it was the same dragon on 2 officials pieces of merchandise: the METAL Die-Cast Joker statue (shirtless), and the DC's COLLECTIBLE SS Joker statue sculpted by the very talented James Marsano. We might get a better look at the DCEU Joker's back in the Ayer cut, somehow? Not sure what the circumstances might be, but there are quite a few extra scenes with the Joker in it, after all... (I really want to see his tête-à-tête with Enchantress, and then his face-off with the Squad when he comes to take Harley back).

I disagree about Lettos Joker needing a close relationship with Batman, not all Jokers do. The original goldenage joker didnt. He was a mobster, a gangster, I think they tried to do that. A modern gangster is what they tried to make him, unfortunately it fell flat on its face, Jack Nicholson already did the gangster Joker perfecty, I dont think anyone could do that version as well as Jack did. Also in the goldenage Batman was annoying to the Joker, which makes me think thats what they were going for.

What really sucks is that when you look at some of the concept art for the joker he had a different style originally that kinda had a mob vibe to him and he looked older and less over the top and more of a crazy man that had a reputation that spread fear.

The fact that they got Brent Spiner to play him in YJ... You have to have some truly terrible writing to make that man seem like he can't act. What a waste. I genuinely don’t understand what people could dislike about Richard Epcar’s depiction of the joker. (Other than his Injustice 2 design but that’s a dev problem.) But Leto's Joker was SO BAD otherwise... However, I am actually going to DEFEND LETO... As this is an issue that plagues Batman! It seems NO ONE can make a Batman Movie without JOKER or WITHOUT HARLEY QUINN... Batman has one of the largest Rouges Galleries of Any Super Hero - Yet every time a movie is made, JOKER OR HARLEY QUINN MUST BE REFRENCED OR APPEAR! And that's a major issue.... Take ALL THE SUICIDE SQUAD MOVIES... Harley Quinn is in all of them, She is in the games... She is PART O FTHE SUICIDE SQUAD... Screw the fact that The Suicide Squad PERDATES HARLEY QUINNS EXISTENCE PERIOD... Studios (Warner Bros.) are constantly playing Fan Service without understanding the property! While I have yet to watch it - Even THE BATMAN has a nice End Credit scene where a NEW VILLAIN could be introduced and everything seems set up for HUSH... An Iconic villain that MANY FANS, Including myself want to see on the big screen... BUT NO - ITS THE F**KING JOKER AGAIN! CONFIRMED... THE DIRECTOR CONFIRMED ITS THE F**KING JOKER! Give us a Joker who Lives, Who Batman refuses to kill, In ONE SINGLE MOVIE... Then have him be nothing more than a reference for a while, A Background part, Give us HUSH, PENGUIN, RIDDLER, FALSE FACE, THE MNAD HATTER, Then bring Joker back to the forefront... Having planned and waited and he was portrayed to have done in the animated "Killing Joke" Constantly throwing him and Harley Front and Centre to play Fan Service KILLS THE THREAT! It sad, there is so much potential in the DC universe... But no one seems to be able to get past Joker / Quinn! Marvel are facing a similar problem, Robert Downey Junior was so good as Iron Man, Many fans seem to have fallen off since he decided to leave... Joker as a criminal mastermind is actually a relatively recent development. For a long time, he was just an impulsive madman who just wanted to kill people and get attention. He wasn't anything like Leto's Joker but he also didn't do everything for a reason. Hell, the death of Jason Todd was a spur-of-the-moment decision because someone delivered a tied-up Robin to him and he only realised after the fact that Batman would 100% kill him if he caught him after that.

Just the concept of any version of the joker standing still for hours getting dozens of tattoos is just ridiculus. He's a pretty versatile character, but the tattoos just dont fit him. I think it would have been far more effective to keep the tattoos(not the exact ones Leto had cause they suck) but have them be scars. I think the concept of him staying up for hours carving these symbols into his own skin with a knife all night just for the sake of showmanship and pizzaz is far more in character, shocking, and gives far more insight.

It’s crazy to me we haven’t gotten an interpretation in a batman film of under the red hood. It could’ve honestly set this Batman and joker up so the audience actually cares about them. Having a scene where Batman looks at robins suit once and then being this killer makes it feel so rushed. It’s not even to appeal to general audiences but it literally would make sense story wise if they set up a Batfleck and robin film first in which Batman doesn’t kill until after joker sends him over the edge by killing robin. We slowly see him ramp up until we get him killing with almost no remorse. Heck I’ll make Batman v Superman even better with this if they added an opening scene of Bruce as a child being bullied but then beating up the bully only to have his mother come and calm him down by saying "this isn’t how we do things Bruce, he may have harmed you but you can’t go too far" or something like that. That simple scene would’ve actually saved the Martha scene in bvs. Something that draws a connection to Batman remembering his mother’s words instead of just "our moms have the same name that’s crazy". Got off topic there for a second but man they had so many chances to save this universe only to fail over and over again. I’m glad Gunn took over and we’ll actually have a planned storyline

I think the reason the YJ Joker was so bland was to keep people from wanting more of the character. If you were to take the best depictions of Joker and drop them into YJ, they wouldn’t fit in at all. All the best YJ villains were schemers with complex and very human motivations. Joker is a force of nature; he’s chaos incarnate. Thematically, he doesn’t mesh all that well with that show, which is why he was never more than a B-tier villain in that ‘verse.

Leto's interpretation for me felt fake, forced, unnatural, and overall a disgrace to all the Jokers before and after him. If the Joker was gonna have tattoos: they would be messy, chaotic, incoherent, filled with noticeable scars and stretch marks. If the Joker was gonna wear anything: It would symbolize his chaotic nature, but make him look like a Joker. Leto wore tattoos that the Joker would never realistically have. He wears the most generic outfits imaginable. His laugh isn't sinister, scary, ominous, or even creepy, just flat and annoying, like he was going for The Simpson's Nelson laugh. And him giving a crap about Harley? Seriously, none of the Jokers really cared about her, they ALL saw her as a useful idiot tool, nothing more. Leto's Joker felt more like it was designed around Harley's fantasy than anything else. The arrangement of the knives scene: All I got from that was "Really?" Him breaking into prison to rescue Harley: For 1, Joker would never do that. For 2, he wouldn't dress up as a guard to get in, he'd level the place. If anything, Leto's Joker is the sanest but most seemingly desperate for attention interpretation I've ever seen. And the most crucial bit that Leto seriously lacked is that the Joker while very clearly insane, always has something dark and humorous that tends to have words to shake the foundations of reality & morality, whereas he just sounds like a moron spitting random words hoping something will stick, like a failed actor.
