I'll be watching for further updates on the Barra and the Ford 427 SOHC engine. The Cammer has a lot of history and are rare and expensive today watching a build of a cammer will be something I've never seen and educational.

The idea for the All Freedom engine is great. Everyone seems to want 1000+ hp, but the truth is a street car with 800hp is absolutely crazy and you can never step on the gas for more than 10 seconds anyway. Whoever wins it will be a very lucky person

427 Cammer. I was wanting you to do one. They are great motor and can hit some high RPM. If you use a gear drive not chains the sound is OMG great. It is easy to get great HP from them thats why NASCAR banned them back in the day and Top Fuel NHRA started to use them. Hope to see updates on it. Thank you

That was an awesome story too many times we focus on what's right in front of us and what's in our hands and we can't see what is in the future or what someone has put in the future for us there is a good lesson to be learned here yes there is a story about a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush but in this case his father made arrangements for the smartest of the three to make his wishes come true and take care of his son that he loves so much just really teared me up I love it

My order is in, my 69 Camaro has been sitting for 12 years for health reasons, it could use a fresh motor and some motivation as well.

We understand the smx is to much for a daily its a high budget piece this basic engine will do it for us thank you Steve for the chance to get something you worked on

Cool to see you have a tinker with that 4L! I’m another fan watching from oz! it goes with out saying the hype behind these is because of the huge easy power they make especially compared with most bolt on spec Ls builds! but my guess is it’s likely to impress but not be blown away lol it’s definitely got a better head than a lot of engines and it’s naturally a smooth engine but better flow and ve than a sm?nah mate!! I doubt it! but definitely interested to see what it’s going to be used for and what it makes.

Funny people never think of that… putting a higher hp engine in a car. “Just pop it in there.” Yeah, after you buy a new converter, a new transmission to handle the power, a new driveshaft and normally a new rear end and suspension. Let alone a whole new fuel system, and efi if that’s the case… I’d say in todays market $40k to make a car ready to accept an SML and hold together is even short… Love the shop update! 👍
