The day has finally come to move to our property. Our septic lines are run; our water lines are in; our electric lines are zigging and zagging under our feet. The camper needs to get to the land so we can hook it all up to the infrastructure and tie it down with earth ties to satisfy local building codes. Then, the electric company can send power to our meter and our property will become our new home. We will be here 24/7 ready to build our dream home on the top of the mountain. In this episode, we share our creative side with a few non-essential projects, like building a firepit out of stone we've unearthed and transplanting a large walnut tree with our new RK24 tractor. We also show a secret cemetery on our property - one of our favorite places to hike to and get lost in the wilderness of Virginia.

I love the old cemetery. It's the circle of life. There's probably one maybe two generations of people resting there and now new people come to live their lift there. I love finding things buried from the previous generations of people that were on my place long before I was even born. I can't imagine what life was like 100-150 years ago before most people had electricity and automobiles. They really had it rough back then.

It's a very special place. I find myself walking up there often just to think and relax.

That place would make you think the hobby of metal detecting is easy. If you ever have the chance, you guys should try it. I bet there is loads of silver history in that ground.

Love the old cemetery. I have one on my property, all are just rocks, with no name, except one has a marker with a name.

You all should contact the local university...I bet they would love to do some GPR at your property to help you understand what and where the graves are. ♥️

That casualty of WWI had the right to be buried in a national cemetery and have his grave properly tended to for eternity. Sad that he ended up in that forlorn cemetery.
