Thank you for your great advice, Nick! I just opened a new store on June 1 partially as an experiment, using all your standard pieces of advice regarding photography, video, titles, tags, etc. Most of my time is spent on photography. I've found an app I really like that gives great enhancements, but I just listed my FIFTH item and just made my fist sale! Super excited!

Great video. I see some comments on other channels bashing you and this "repetitive" advice you're giving about making it to a hundred listings. They don't realize the value of this advice and just complain on and on and on. Well good for me then. They will be less of a competition cause they are too lazy to do best practices. Keep up the good work 👍🏼

Yes once I got to like 150 listings I got way more sales. I sell supplies so probably for handmade 100 is enough.

SM has gotten me NO sales in about 8 months, no followers, no interactions and still my mind thinks that I need to be there... It's weird. I'm still working on my shop but not as I should nor have I improved my skills. So much time wasted chasing the algorithm. Thanks for the ideas!

I actually have been doing this already. I was really doing well until a buyer left me a one star review. They said the item was smaller than they wanted. I did have it pictured next to a ruler and a video showing the item in my hand. This brought down my rating a lot. Now I think my listings are not being seen. I have been selling on Etsy for 10 years, but not 100% active. It sat for a few years, it's been on vacation mode a few time. I'd work on it and not work on it. It was a very crippled store. Then I started listing one listing a day, starting to get sales, then a bad review. All that work down the drain. Why am I sharing this? I have no idea. Maybe someone else has experienced this. Anyway, if you have a large KZfaq channel dedicated to reselling that does help your Etsy shop. How many of us have that, right? Don't give up my fellow Etsy sellers.

Hi there, thanks for your comment. I think most sellers will say they have all experienced that bad review that was not warranted. I recommend that you post a public response, if you haven't already saying that the item was photographed with a ruler etc. Don't let it get you down! Hi Nick, Thank you for sharing these tips. I am feeling frustrated. My shop has 3 months, > 300 listing, but only one sale. What I am going wrong? I care for SEO, title and tags, photo, all looks good to me. However, my views barely get 5 a day.

I’m not on social media very much but have found that Pinterest works for me so I’m adding more listings to more collections. I’m adding new listings slowly and am now wondering whether I should add items using my art on mugs or other products. Any thoughts about doing that on a shop that only has prints and cards now.

Hey Nik, thank you for the valuable content you share as always! 🌸I have a question about deactivating listings: In one of your videos you have said that you should deactivate the listings that hasn't sold in 12 months (3 renewals). I have a digital shop which i opened in 2022 that has 145 listings in it, some of them hasn't sold in 3-4-5 renewals because i wasn't active on my shop so my traffic was so low. In the last 1 month, i am actively upgrading my shop and listing new items and the traffic also on those listings are increasing. Somehow i feel like those listings will be liked and sold as the traffic increases in my shop. Now, do you recommend me deactivating those listings and publishing the same listings as new listings(by copying them) or letting them stay as they are in my shop? or deactivating them anyway? It all depends on your store sales performance. The higher your daily sales, the more you can list.

Hi, I said it because it is true, unless there is a fault with indexing (which happens occasionally), you are always indexed when you list your first listing.

Going ok, store looks alot better, still work in progress, more views but few sales. Doing photos is hardest for me, but mostly as challenged with daylight hours vs when model available. Stupid question ... Does Etsy use your conversion rate as a ranking factor? The higher your conversion rate, the better you will rank. Or am I wrong in this? If so, using social media attracts lots of visitors who will not buy. So lowering your conversion rate, ...

100% correct. Don't send SM traffic to your Etsy store unless you can absorb the low converting traffic.

I tried to upload 1 listing for 30 days, but if I look at listings stats the new listings don't have any view so far (1 month later) do you think is it normal? Also since I started to change all the pictures to my old listings + improve my seo and my sales completely stop (no sales since 2 months) despite the listings are looking better...
