Want to start a fishing channel or VLOG? Don't know where to start? Using a GoPro or Phone? Well today I am going to show you my top recommendations on products and accessories to buy if you want to start your own fishing youtube channel. Very good advice, i have some basic stuff and filmed a few fishing trips but only when my wife comes. She films and fishes so we can swap camera duties 👍. I just brought a ns black hole 8.3ft egi rod (off fb) for the handing m1 3000 spin reel i purchased. Should be a killer plastics/ squid combo. Can't wait to get healthy and out fishing again 👍.

Yea I love rods like that for punching out plastics long in salt water. I used to almost exclusively use an egi rod for all my fishing.

@yep.ultralight really good to know. I was very unsure feeling it in shop. But putting it side by side with other rods giving them the wiggle test it felt better than a 1-4kg rod. More like a 2-5kg with a medium/ fast bend. This feels nice for me as i find it hard going from fiberglass flop sticks to newer fast action styles. Also i find it hard getting a rod over 7ft 6in, most end around 7'4". Only other options was a abu vertias 7'4" 3-6kg or the mystery bag of aliexpress. Hope to give a little review on all of this gear.

7'6 purelure zero is very good. $200 or so but worth it

I use Adobe rush mostly which is basically a simplified version of premier pro. If I was you I would get the desktop version of capcut which is arguably better than rush and also free. Capcut is just a bit unstable on my PC because I have Intel graphics, if you have NVIDIA or ati or even a Mac it should be fine. Some of the editing and thumbnails are done in Canva and the music/effects are from Epidemic sound

GoPro hero 10 and Google Pixel 8 Pro. The advantage of the GoPro over a smart phone is image stability, wider viewing angle and horizon levelling. A Smart phone on .5 zoom will suffice though.
