Illidan almost killed her brother stop with the bullshit , she hates him for real . She wanted to kill him back in war of ancients but the hero of they're people back then was malfurion and he saved his brother from execution . She was the one person to want him executed immediately . Imagine you guard a person for 10000 year and someone other than yourself decide to free him by killing your friends . Illidan was more dangerous than demons for her and she loves azeroth ofc she will hunt him down , she never knew... no one knew what illidan was doing , even tyrande believed he was going to finish her xD lol . I think they never showed Maiev thoughts , after legion was defeat by Illidan and company .

Malfurion would not allow the High Elves to rejoin their elven brethren, since they fear that their lust for magic can trigger a new threat to Azeroth. The night elves, however, accepted the Highborne in their ranks, maybe Malfurion grew less paranoid for magic than he was in the past, I doubt he would've accepted the Blood Elves.

orrthehunter Well, Maiev's return doesn't necessarily mean that Ilidan's gonna be a bad guy again since (SPOILERS) she is apparently the one who frees the player demon hunters from the prison. Also in the novel Wolfheart, Maiev seems to have kinda lost it since she actually started to go around murdering highborne mages while at the same time planning and eventually trying to murder Malfurion for letting the highborne back into night elven society. So she is either crazy and possibly a bad guy or maybe she was somehow manipulated and there's something more going on with her.

I would imagine that Kil'jaeden revealed that information to him, along with where to find Eye of Sargeras to destroy Lich King. Also since Naga were former Highborne who sided themselves with Burning Legion, I quess that is why they also more tha willingly sided together with Illidan, Vashj herself too said to Kael that Naga as former highborne were addicted to magic and that Kil'jaeden would feed that hunger... Illidan, Kael, Vashj, and their people, they all wanted more power, more sources of magic to feed that addiction and hunger.

Cause Illidan was still the one to raise from from their slumber and he was stills serving Kil'jaeden still at that point whom they also wished to serve.
