There should definitely be more intervention by the police to stop the rude and disrespectful behaviour.

I can't believe the guards have been told not to shout if the tourists are grabbing the reins, touching the guard and all because some diplomats got there feelings hurt because the guard shouted at them and they made a complaint to our Government!! Just watching these people surrounding the horse is disgusting. The guards must be so frustrated. Why, why, why does everyone have to touch the horse!! LEAVE THEM ALONE FOR GOODNESS SAKE!!!!!

I swear, it's like they never touched a horse before.

The horses must get so very tired of everyone’s hands all over their heads and face. Even when they turn away to get away from all the hands people keep going after them insisting they want their hands all over the face.

One always asks permission to pet a horse. I had the occasion to talk with a mounted police officer on one of my visits to London. We chatted briefly and she gave me permission to pet the horse.

Did I hear someone say that the police officer should not of been that aggressive? I wonder how many times he tells people not to do something throughout the day but they do it anyways.

I can’t believe I’m compelled to watch these videos. They are an interesting example of people watching. So many entitled ignorant people, but a lot of respectful people. The Guards seem for the most part especially kind towards children.

People should know not to touch the horses, but a sign saying so might also help, along with a semi circular line on the ground which clearly shows it is not to be crossed.

Would these inconsiderate tourists pet a police dog or a service dog? These are working animals! At LEAST ask permission or say “thank you” before or after you pet it. This guard is doing his job and how utterly rude to grab the reins, the bit, or any part of the horse! Kids may not know the rules but their self absorbed parents should know the rules! Being blind, it distracts the dog and can be confusing while it’s supposed to being guiding me.

The Fifjian looking woman "what did I do, what did I do" She did what she was hovering around to do!!! Could not get close enough so ran around to the other side. Same with the scarecrow in shorts, she was aching to grab hold of something.

Its about time people are prohibited from touching the horses, not just a sign to say they may bite or kick. Could have a pictorial sign so everyone would understand. Although they are well trained, horses can be unpredictable or could be startled by something.

Some Torests are so dumb even though they have been told to get off the Rains they still persist on doing it straight after being told not too.

I do think some of these people are touching the reins for attention. They have possibly seen what happens and hope to get attention from the guard.

I bet those horses get sick of all those hands in their faces. They need to add "do not touch reins" to the list.

Do these people EVEN THINK? This is obviously an attraction that brings in money. However it would work just fine with some enforcement of respect. That would add a very basic element of education that lots of tourists apparently lack.

It’s about time animals should step in. All that touching, the heat on standing still should be stopped. This is all to just draw tourists in, these are soldiers who suffer just as much as the horses, they are not wax works.

If everyone is so interested in the horses, perhaps theres a time and a place to get near horses! Its *NOT* a petting zoo! Some of these horses enjoy the interaction, breaks up the hour, other horses make their feelings very well known with bites and aggressive head nods to tell people to back off. This video was insane. So many people waiting to take a picture, people not moving off created this over crowding. The only issue I'm concerned about is the man the threatened to punch the horse or accidental the poke in the eye (too busy posing for the camera and trying to pet a horse she couldn't see), and the horse returned that favour by biting her fingers 😂. These people bother me.

Stop leaning on the horses tourists. Stand under the sign. Middle of both side pillars. That is it!
