Watercolor Fall Leaves - Negative/Reverse Watercolor Painting Technique

In this video I demonstrate the negative watercolor painting technique, sometimes called reverse watercolor painting. To do this you'll need:
-Watercolor paper
-Pencil
-Watercolors
-Watercolor brush

Step 1: How to draw a leaf? 😂 I love how you’ve demoed this. I think I’ll actually try it! P.S. Love that the video is “landscape” orientation. P.P.S. I just realized since the videos in “portrait” orientation are TikTok Lives, I can rotate my iPad and it fills the screen. (I’m new to the channel.)

That's really SO neat. I've always had trouble with watercolors but I think I could manage this technique & look forward to trying it. Thanks for breaking it down into easy steps. It's hard to find good tutorials on any painting, but especially watercolors .. would love to see some on gouache & acrylics as well!
