Tell me about it. Between a wrist injury and Covid my gains have suffered. The good news is that I neglected my running game, which is getting back on point. When I'm finally able to lift again I'm not going to neglect my running. It's such a painful road to build up running stamina. I don't want to have to go through that again. lol

Some of the stuff like the weights wouldn't really be suitable for a public park. But pullup bars and dip ststions would be awesome. Adult sized monkey bars would be rad too.

Amazing! I build a structure like this, but i used galvanized scaffolding. used 1 inch pipe on the pull ups bar and 1,5 inch on everything else. 1,5 inch als for the dip bar, which gives it a little more comfort on the hands due to more surface.

Next : add a wood structure with some pulleys and cables with space to add free weights to do pec flies, tricep pulldowns and all types of cable exercises

you can put solar powered lights there so in the early morning when your backing out you can see them , but they also will work if you are doing workouts early in the morning before the sun is out or after it has gone to bed

You could put a duel hanging rope to climb. Like PE time in middle school climbing ropes. But put them side by side so you can do both at the same time.

We have four sons, youngest 19 oldest 25, they are all very much into weightlifting, and in military. Blessed that they have a very good relationship with their pops. I wish all young men were so lucky. These guys are super entertaining.

Hang your battle ropes from the pull up bar for some thick roped TRX style training, it would give you suspension training and a grip work out at the same time. It’s great for bodyweight rows. You could also add a detachable bar across the top of your squat rack and turn it into a strongman yoke, if you put some upright pipes on the base you could slide some plates on to set your weight.

I have an outdoor pull-up bar I built like that and inside I made a simple cable machine with some pulleys, cable, heavy rope, and a chunk of pipe and a few other odds and ends from the hardware store. Works awesome

Well done, Buff Dudes! For next time, how about adding a climbing rope and/or wall? The wall also could be used for medicine ball or wall ball throws, or for tossing around those kegs. Bonus points if you mark off heights on the wall!
