I have mentioned we raised the Black Angus and Dad bred our cows to a Santa Gertrudis bull. He was so huge he rode on the back of a flatbed. In our pastures of 5 strand barbed wire, he could have stepped right over it but he was so gentle. His genetics were so profound you could tell his calves 3 generations later. They are huge but have small calves and that first year the calves grew well past their momma's heights before their first year.

Great channels and great people. We run a beef cattle farm as well. We raise angus and angus/Hereford cross. Have some beef masters but getting out of those. Great info on the south polls.

Congratulations on your new bull! Love the old barn you showed that’s just outside of Marshall Ar. It has always been one of my favorites. I lived most of my life in Marshall but now live in the same area as y’all. We have a small homestead no cows yet but talking about it. Great information about the cattle. Lisa Johnson

Beautiful country. Love looking at places, animals hay etc. I laugh when we travel we say wow look that is terrible or great hay. Not wow look at the beautiful lake or park or trees.

are Great video.. Love seeing all you put out but my favorite are when you work the cattle. I guess it is because I have not known much about cattle in the past. Everything is new to me. I am the one who thought cows ate grass and gave milk and that is all I knew. Love you all. God Bless

Love watching your videos! It’s like going back in time to my childhood. I grew up on a farm, and miss it so much. I grew up in Arkansas but have lived in California many years (I don’t like Cali) but hey here I am, married to a California guy for 50 years. That is so absolutely exciting! Beautiful bull. I was watching one of those "Rarest Cows Breeds" video the other day, the South Poles reminded me a lot of some of the old French breeds. It would be a little daunting to wanna even pet something that size. I hope and pray this works out really well for you guys. I have another Vinson bovine to meet when I make it down that way now. Miracle and the new kid. (lol) This will be so fun seeing how this all works out.

You should name him Hercules !! He is a beautiful looking bull hope he does your farm great. When I first seen him I was like wow what an amazing animal. With every video I watch of you and the family I love this channel more and more keep up the great work. I love Dutch and Kevins channels too. If you want to see another great one go take a look at Arms Family Homestead they are another great channel and Danial and Dutch are great friends they all know each other, Dutch, Kevin and Danial. Hi VW family. I am a brand new subscriber to you. I found you through my "recommendations." I watched the video where you went and got your new bull and this one. I love watching farm life videos and look forward to getting to know you all better. I live in the country (but not a farm) here in Northern Maine. I am 58 years old and have been married to my husband for 41 years. My husband works in the agricultural/farm community installing GPS in tractors. The biggest crop here is potatoes.
