random guess but red: futuristic animals, mainly because they look close to regular animals with added features that are too advanced to be prehistoric green: prehistoric animals purple: weird alien creatures (ex: that singing/humming green thing that was in the ocean) they don’t resemble anything on earth and tend to have weird properties or abilities

Bro they were lucky they got out with the weird spider-like thing in the store place. It had some type of green lure, like an angler fish, and it had maxed out stealth plus an invisibility ability. WEHO feels like the SCP foundation. They only have guns, but can deal with the monsters and dinosaurs and probably can imprison them too. And a lot of them die too.

I just made a connection. One of the dinosaurs in Chicago said ”Don’t screw it up” in a deep, and angered voice, here is the audio for it 12:42 You can here them muttering, which means that the fucking same raptors somehow traveled all the way from Florida to Chicago. Looking at the timestamps though between 2023 and 2024 I can see it happening. Not only that but remember the baby and the mother raptor? Yeah, those are most likely the same ones from the first post in of the weird birds series. The same ones which most likely murdered the child and his family. There are so many more things I could list down, but all I can say is that everything connects like a spiders web.

The manananggal is a vampire-like folkloric monster that sucks unborn babies out of sleeping future mothers using either its tongue or a mosquito-like proboscis, depending on the version of the folklore you're referencing. So to people who are culturally Filipino, it's not a novel concept. Filipino culture and the folklore that comes with it is still a thing, even if you are technically correct on the race thing there; on the US Census Filipino falls under the umbrella of Pacific Islander. Not sure what you mean about blood there; I mean you can literally tell where in the world people's ancestors are from by looking for particular genetic markers. I think the best way to describe this series is the BBC Primeval show combined with The Last of Us universe. I love this thing that Archesuchus has made, it is the GOAT.

They're apparently releasing another Primeval novel, which means there's still signs of life there, and I DO also think I remember Archesuchus saying something about working on a show or something a little bit back. Right now, it's still pretty much just a conspiracy theory on my end, but I wanna believe that it's all connected, and this is all secretly gonna be connected to an ACTUAL Primeval revival.

It just kinda throws away the realistic Dinosaur thing it was originally going for. I like the more recent animals like the tazmainian tiger on the paper but there is also just a straight up dragon. It’s just too sci-fi now. I still like it though.

It feels like a Resonance Casade from the Half Life universe. For those not in the know, in the videogame Half Life 1, scientists conducting secret research accidentally weaken the fabric of reality, in an event referred to as a "resonance cascade". This causes dangerous alien lifeforms to start teleporting into their laboratory from an alternate reality, and causing trouble. The phenomenon rapidly spreads beyond the confines of their lab, with aliens teleporting all over the countryside, and later the entire world, causing a global crisis. The aliens appear on Earth in much the same way as is happening in this series - popping into existence through glowing green wormholes. I doubt that the Earth of Weird Birds is experiencing the same thing, but it definitely feels like some organization was aware of the wormhole potential ahead of time, and was trying to contain it. Whether or not they're responsible for the disaster (as the scientists in Half Life 1 were) remains to be seen.

This ARG low-key kinda reminds me of that old Dinosaur Attack cards. The cards essentially told the story of a group of scientists opening a window into the past to see what happened to the Dinosaurs, only end up opening a rift that brought the dinosaurs into our modern world. Only difference is that the reason the portal opened in Dinosaur Attack's story was because the Demonic God of Dinosaurs called "The Supreme Monstrosity" wanted to destroy all humans.

I was thinking of primeval when I saw part one. than this part showed up. now it really does feel like this was inspired by that tv show. it was a shame how it ended. it was actually getting good. it's the same plot point. portals opening randomly anywhere and creatures coming out of them from many different timelines. than later people also from those portals came from the future trying to stop the chaos. it gone to the point that the characters are making a theory that someone out there is making this happened. and no there's no aliens. but people in the future making creatures and they end up in this whole mess. but we well never find out what happens next.

I mean like, with most ARGs it's all about this 'unknown, never-before-thought-of force coming to slaughter humanity', and while those are really unique, I love this take of just these random animals being teleported to a place they've NEVER in their lives seen before, and just trying to survive, therefore bringing MORE threat to the humans because these guys are trying to survive and see these weird hairless defenseless monkeys as easy prey. It's really just a amazing ARG. WOW.

Just reposting this here from a reply as a full on comment in case people be curious to what the future creatures may be. Confirmed that the Purple Portals span 1 billion years in the future. It's notable that life will only absolutely die out on earth at 1.3 billion years so this is possible. And here's some good gueses or outright knowns as well for the speculative creatures in this part. -The Large green creature is known as a Grand Marshall as is the future evolution of a guppy. More is better explained in the questions thread. Likely stems from the purple portals. -The mysterious purple mist like beast with the lights is known as a Cryptic Flyer. It's a cephalopod from the purple portals. I billion years in the future. They don't teleport they cloak. -The snake [Tsuchikino] and the weird moss lizard [known as mossmen] are to my memory future species as well from the red portals. Which so far we know span to a more recent future. -The Fetus Eater [apologies] is from a future evolution of a triops. The water suplies where contaminated. -The weird pink flying tubes in the skies are Lusterwings. Flying polychaete worms 1 billion years in the future. The above is more or less all confirmed information by the creator of the Weird Bird series [Archesuchus]. -The Dragon is hard to pinpoint but I have a likely idea. Given what has been said the "Dragon" may honestly be the future evolution of a toothed bird. It's already been seemingly confirmed that the future evolution of past animals brought back by this event has lead to new species in the future. Future non "modern bird" dinosaurs, extinct mammals, etc. Hell the mimicking raptors imo MIGHT have a similar origin. It's worth noting there troodontids and not dromaeosaurs. Big ones to! Not ones from the foosil record by what was implied. Could be wrong doe. As for some of the non future creatures seen not name by what has been confirmed. The huge raptor is Utahraptor. Dog croc is by no surprise kraprosuchus. The Sauropod was confirmed to be Sauroposeidon. The Mosasaur was confirmed to be Goronyosaurus. The Plesiosaur is confirmed to be an unnamed species. The Croc, Tapejarid and odd mammal are a complete mystery to me. Same with the huge birds to [all though Argentavis is likely]. It's hard to tell. AND the Croc is pretty likely to be Sarcosuchus imo but no one can never be to certain. Hope this helps anyone

Personally, I dont think that Bailey and her brother are dead. I think that they were evacuated to that bunker and was told to say that the story was an art project. My reasoning behind this is that if WEHO was just killing survivors, then they wouldn't have bothered to take the kids with them, especially Max, since he was paralyzed and had to be carried. They would have gunned them down on sight, not try to communicate or relocate, if that was part of their mission. Not meantion that not many people have to stomach to kill a kid.

Military men like these guys seem to stomach killing kids and can justify it by simply "following orders" though i doubt the kids died (tho the brother was pretty critical he might not make it) but the "non lethal venom" from the OP is still very sus and probs wants us to feel better if they did die. like, why inject kids with VENOM even if its non lethal you don't know if the kid would react to it normally like allergies.

@stephanos6128 Maybe the venom acts like a sedative. If they're going to take the kids to a hidden location, then they can't have anyone knowing the directions. Also Id assume that they would deal with any allergy related injuries when they got back to their base.

@@sui1162 which is fair but even in normal controlled environments like a hospital, its still isn't safe to inject anyone with an unknown substance (for these characters bodies specifically too, that venom is from another time period! who knows how she'll react!) doctors ask you about allergiss for a reason cus even the most common of injections in hospitals has accidentally killed people due to an unknown allergy reaction to it. And even then why not use a sedative from our time? She'd have a more controlled reaction to it compared to venom from another timeline. I do think they killed her, even if accidentally.

My theory is that the giant blob singing thing is some kind of alien and it’s the one summoning everything. I also think that the mysterious people are from the future and are trying to stop the dinosaurs and future things to save humanity from becoming extinct. I feel like the lights are either how the singing blob is spawning stuff, some other random otherworldly stuff, or some thing made by WEHO to either stop or help the things (I haven’t finished yet so some of this stuff might be answered)

My speculation went rampant for a second. But I did a bit of research, but every creature present within these stories are all terrestrial and from Earth, just from different times. Big green is a "Grand Marshall", its what 1 billion years of evolution does to a GUPPY, and apparently has biology and pheromones that requires an entire scientific-paper's worth of words jus to explain it. Note: the store-creatures are "Cryptic Flayers", they are what 1 billion years of evolution does to a cephalopod. Quite appropriate that 1 billion years of Evolution causes Earth to become entirely alien, rocking bioluminescence. No homo sapiens though, but eh, that's fine.

The WEHO guys saw something in the dark and then the narration just cuts to a post of someone that clearly wasn't the original girl? Yeah I think they are dead and WEHO just grabbed the phone to try to cover it up. The guy from the first part is dead, he was bleeding hard from getting attacked by one of the raptors. Mikey's flock and his dog kept him company before he died though. He also was in a completely different state so hes not related to the siblings, likely was just another casualty of those portals bringing in random animals from the past.
