Okay, after a long time of waiting, the next volume is finally here! Let’s see which ones I personally like more versus those I don’t like and stuff. Favorites: The Sonic CD Bad Future Shenanigans, those are always fun. Soap shoes gag was literally funny Poor spaceman on the moon lol, I knew where that was going. The Sonic Movie 2 one is among my top favorites because of the sick animation and the fact I love Frontiers music. I also watch this guy’s channel on his animations and they’re pretty cool 😎 Omochao one with Sonic and Shadow had a fun jab and twist on Omochao, I knew that thing was evil the whole time XD Captain Dread one was pretty fun as like a little narrative story time thing by the character, which I don’t see a lot of nowadays Sonic OVA with them being knocked out of the helicopter was great, loved seeing their dynamic there. I appreciate the Sonic Adventure commercial reference lol The one with Bark and Bean was a nice one for me since I love the Hooligans, Bark is my favorite ^^ Murder of Sonic one with Shadow and the others made for fun interactions. TL;DR Play Murder of Sonic, game is GOATED, y’all. The Silver and Blaze one might be top 3 for me in this 9th volume, I really enjoyed this one in particular. Sonic and Bubsy was pretty cool to see. Tbh, I was scared it was gonna be some kind of messed up version of Tails, like Secret History Tails or something, but Bubsy is alright, I’m cool with him. 🤣 Strider is so funny and accurate, it’s perfect. EXACTLY HOW I felt, fun the first time, but quickly the enemy became mundane. Infinite vs The End! Who will win? I KNEW someone was gonna make a joke on this ever since the secret fight in the base game! Also, I miss you, Infinite my boy! One of my top favorites here just because of Infinite ^^ Master Koco trial…….nothing needs to be said. Again…..perfectly accurate to how everyone felt XD I guess the ending credits count too…..since I loved the music and SA1 again play out in front of me, that game is special to so many. 15 things I liked in this I see. I’m gonna think about ones I found either meh or didn’t like at all. Least favorites: The Sonic Pinball Party was fun at first, and I get the Tails is invincible gag, but I don’t personally like to see my favorite characters get treated like that, but thankfully, this is the least offensive one to me. The Rouge one with the Master Emerald in her mouth……felt really weird and uncomfortable to me. I remember not being into Ed, Edd and Eddy, so maybe that’s why I’m not a fan of it. The Ken Penders Echidnas? Yeah, it was a weird time and seeing it resurface here reminds me so much of why I never liked Penders’ stuff in the first place. It’s just too overwhelming, though Knuckles did have a valid reaction, I will say that. The creatures that can never be Sonic characters one was too disgusting for me as someone who’s scared of like many bugs. It may be factual which I will give it points for, but still too disgusting for me 🤢 To Catch a Predator one, I never watched it, so I have no idea what you were even referring to, but I didn’t like this one considering how Big was treated there. Now, things can be innocently misconstrued yes, but why Big? He’s just a simple guy who loves fishing, why put him in that situation? I know he got away and alright, but I personally felt this was hate directed at Big since I actually like his character, I know not many do. The Vanilla consent one…….I’m ngl, might be the lowest one for me since Cream and Vanilla are one of my favorite characters, they’re simply wholesome, and to see them, or one of them objectified, I don’t like stuff like that, and my issue is, is that almost every time Cream and Vanilla are shown in some fan animations, there’s always something behind the curtain, like the Sonic X dinner short, didn’t like seeing Cream my girl cry 😭 I generally just want to see Cream and Vanilla having good and wholesome moments, that’s all. Anyways, I digress….. Elise one is…..kinda freaky ngl, I could feel Sonic being uncomfortable there, but I did like that he had to blow it out himself just to get out of that nightmare lol This one is not one of my most hated ones, but there’s a point of irrelevancy in it that bugs me a bit. Being that Amy is fixated on Sonic and has him tied up for marriage, if this was done many years ago, it would be fitting considering this is supposed to be 2000s Amy here I’m guessing when opposed to the 2020s where Amy is a mature character and no longer like she was back then. I also feel Cream wouldn’t lash out at Amy like that considering they’re friends and almost like sisters imo; however….this one isn’t a complete downer. I loved seeing Omega in a suit and the Squid Jumpscare meme is the one saving grace of this one for me. So yeah……I think overall, as far as I can remember, those are my thoughts on these shorts of which ones I liked the best versus those least favorable. Overall, this volume wasn’t bad, but I don’t think it was astounding great or special to remember by like the previous ones. I think it was just kinda good overall, I apologize btw for the huge tangent I gave, but I wanted to give what I thought of these and I feel I did that.
