Welcome to another work day with me. I'm working alone today and had to troubleshoot a very unfamiliar issue with Meraki. I just wanted to take you through my problem-solving of trying to troubleshoot and learn Meraki at the same time. Outside of that, I got a new Galaxy Watch 5 that I bought myself for Christmas and decided to get out of the house and work for a little bit.

You had me dying from laughter over here. "Who reads a manual?" Me neither....until i need to. lol Learning new tech, whether it be code, software, hardware, or devices, is a part of what we do. Props to you and using your Google-Fu immediately, I tend to bash my head on my keyboard until i have to replace it and realize I should just look up answers.

Template VLAN is a VLAN already with certain configurations . You can assign an interface to that template and you’re good to go.

Can’t tell which was more stressful, dealing with the Meraki equipment or trying to get rid of the spider. 😂😂 Keep up the good content!

Meraki is very dope! My job has about 50 sites in it. The API is very powerful once you get to know it.

Those Meraki Point to Multiple networks across our DFW clients and their sister stores in other states were a pain for me a few years back. No spiders though 😅

There's also an app you can put on your phone, it's pretty good for limited troubleshooting.

I work with merakis every day. The idea is great but the execution needs work... So often they just don't work for any reason. Always needing reboots. Edit: Dashboard is ok but definitely takes some getting used to.

Oh I can see that. It's not...my favorite lol I honestly don't think it works well in enterprise it seems. We're actually not going to be using them here shortly so I'm happy about that.
