Comedian Charlie Berens is known for his stand up called "Manitowoc Minute" where he tells the news in a Wisconsin accent. Berens talks about leaving the local news world for comedy and people from Wisconsin`s beef with Illinois.

And now I come down to Wrigley for the Cubs-Brewers games, have been doing this for the last 8 yrs and everyone is friendly and nice. Coincidentally, several years later a new job took me to WI and we lived in the Town of Peshtigo and my kids went to Peshtigo schools.

Learned a lot of things about a lot of words in French. It's also fun to say Detroit as Day-twah (the 'correct' way to say it) around literally anybody who has ever been anywhere near Detroit, they will go bonkers, gotta sit em down on the Davenport so they can chill off.
