Gekko utilizing Centralfiction's ending to justify putting Ragna the Bloodedge in this game is _perfect._ Plus, with Ragna's appearance, it would build hype for a potential future 2.5D Blazblue game with 3D models. With -Strive- money and popularity, it would definitely be possible to do.

I feel like I repeat this information every other week The Jam files the "leakers" found during season 1 has been confirmed by the devs during the 1st year anniversary stream for the game, to be there because the Xrd Jam model in it, was what they used to learn and improve on facial animation for Strive. That's all that was ever about.

Honestly, Ragna would be extremely hype. I never really learned Blazblue as it's sorta weird to me but i always did like Ragna's moves visually. So getting him as a crossover character would be extremely sick.

Also btw you know someone made an interesting idea on how hos can come back. Since canonically he is no longer sol badguy but is Frederick someone said that with him now human and no longer strong enough to use the junkyard mk3 and so maybe he would use a huge chunk on concrete and also maybe would play like hos as he is relearning his fire magic as a human now rather than being super knowledgeable about how powerful he used to be when he was a gear. I mean it is a fun what if and inuniverse way to bring back hos without it being weird

You want a fodder character for a Holy Order Sol replacement? Honestly I think Tyr from Guilty Gear Xtra could work. He's got a superweapon in his body, the bar could be something about how much it has taken over (yeah it can take over his body. He's kinda another take on Ragna, sorta). Plus he's got at least mildly interesting lore to do with Ky, the Holy Order, Anji, Baiken, and Axl. Edit: omg I made this comment before I got to the Ragna part, this works even better lol

i've been advocating for a post-strive story sol that has order sol's moveset for years not gonna lie new model where he looks thinner and more like his XX design and with the short hair and having the charge system be based around his sword (like it would start literally charging)

The leakers were kinda a true with the return of our Dandy Vampire... just took us almost 4 season for his dignified return.

I would like to have Frederick(Sol Badguy) from after the story as a gadget character that would borrow mechanics from Holy Order Sol. He uses some old technology and some power cells so he could have a special move charge mechanic that you need to replenish in a somewhat similar way. And it would be fun to see Sol Badguy against Science Guy Frederick.

If we get Ragna i thik that there are 2 options, the first is just ragna but hes a bit sleepy after he gets teleported by gods will or something, wich i dont think will happen because his kit is IDENTICAL to sols kit exept the follow ups and nightmare edje, or SWORDLESS RAGNA, wich could be interesting seing that his sword was taken by someone at the post credits of bbcf, wich could explain the first option.

I'm ngl I really want Bayonetta as a guest character even though it's a 0% chance of happenjng. I think the flashy, high mobility, combo focused gameplay of Bayonetta would transfer MUCH better and more naturally to Gear than she did to Smash. Idc what the lore explanation would be. We don't need one, but Bayonetta as a series is definitely no stranger to timeline fuckery either. Thinking about it, she does have some overlap with I-No in a basic sense - funny, sexy confident black haird witch lady with time powers but that's just the surface level comparison and PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE

It'd be great to have Ragna show up in Guilty Gear, where even HE doesn't remember who he is, his clothes tattered, his sword broken, and by only interacting with the different characters of GG little bits and pieces start coming back to him, making cute references to Blazblue. This could literally be his story mode. Like, imagine Ragna seeing Ky for the first time, and he's just really pissed off and wanted to fight Ky on sight. This could also be a good excuse to change his moveset a bit for Strive since he's not ALL there.

If they don't put Leopaldon in Strive, I'm expecting the next Guilty Gear's roster to be entirely made up of Leopaldon.
