@@sofypi7493 The stylist didn’t do her job. She also took it too far by making the media upset. Irene might have done a big mistake, but the stylist was super unprofessional (considering her age, so called “good reputation” and more).

Please stop defending Irene. She messed up. People have the right to be angry with someone being demeaning and aggressive. The workplace is a stressful enough place to be, and anyone raising their voice for /any reason/ isn't just a "tired mistake". Screaming at your coworker isn't something to take lightly at all.

We aren't defending Irene completely, people are stabbing her too much and jumping on stupid bandwagons. Taking that this was a certified one time thing, and there is no proof of Irene yelling at her for that long, it doesn't seem serious. People just want to hate people, even if we try to deny it. And trust me, there are a lot of people jealous of people in higher positions, prettier people and people who are loved by many. The world always was like this, and now they are taking this incident as a reason to hate her. So, yes, Irene did deserve to feel some of the consequences, but she does not deserve the backlash on and on again. But then again, she's a female idol in the industry who makes a lot of money, so who won't try to bring her down to feel better. PeriodT.

She's expected to be lead dancer, lead(main rapper), and vocal. Although she wasn't given vocal parts cause Hina, Koeun, Herin are too great.

If you follow lami from her mickey mouse clubhouse years you'll know why when sm rookies cover a song sm next to never give her any lines. Lami is good, but winter is in another level. I mean if you wanna talk abt dance, i bet winter can dance as good as her too but we just cant see it cuz sm hide winter. Lami is a visual, dancer but winter has all from visual, singing and dancing skills too. I understand why sm place winter in the line up

@@felixssausage6662 i saw a tweet where it says that aespa was already planned during 2017, and giselle was the member that they were waiting for since giselle just became a trainee on 2019. maybe, just maybe, one reason why herin left on 2017 is because of the aespa plan while the other smrgg just waited for their contracts to end. kinda sad though because i am really looking forward to those four (hina, koeun, lami and herin), but i am happy at the same time because they are now free from sm.

Especially Aespa already debuted as a girl group with four members then suddenly adding more. I honestly don’t want them to create a girl group just like how Nct system is for now, I wouldn’t want something like that. If SM wants to do a system like Nct he should just do it to the next girl group in the future. I think having Nct system for now is enough since there are too many members already.

Same... but it’s SM.... they got too many projects/groups and most likely will be all over the place with Aespa. Already SM messed up their debut by not releasing an album and pitting them against NCT for show wins.

I dont think Aespa was meant to win anything this year. Their debut is more like a predebut to showcase their visuals and talent as well as distracting knetz from recent SM scandals. Aespa winning something this year is just a bonus. Next year will probably where Aespa show full force, and in conjunction NCT will probably slow down so that both groups to avoid internal competition.

@@hh-jy1ld SM know debut groups won't sell a lot... It's better to introduce the groups first, and get a solid fandom then give them a physical album. The same thing happened to Red Velvet's, NCT U & Dream, etc. too.. that's why its called a "first digital single / debut single"

@Wandering Alpaca i'm actually thinking about the same thing too. if hina was already a great trainee but they kicked her out, then that means giselle has more to offer. maybe it also helps that she speaks english to attract i-fans, and also because they already had karina and winter for dance and they needed a rapper, they decided to go with giselle since she's an all rounder. maybe they were the ones competing for a japanese member spot in the group and i wish the best for the both of them.

This is true, but most people still refer to them separately when speaking of the group because it's not 'To the world we are NCT, NCT WayV, but rather, 'Hello everyone we are WayV'. So i don't know what my point is but this is my 2 cents.

My point was since Label V is SM Chinese sub-label, WayV is spoken of in a separate manner but it is not indicative of them not being part of the group so when people outside of the fandom talk about NCT, they almost always ensure they mention NCT and WayV as they're marketed that way.

If SM adds more members, æspa will be like the female version of NCT.

But I agree, I don't want a big group, my limit for members is 7 because after that idols can easily get screwed after their contracts by being just another face in a crowd of people.

I agree partially because let's face it: We know Red Velvet debuting in 2014 with only 4 members was kind of an emergency use of the upcoming group to distract the public from the scandals happening at that time and we know that Yeri was supposed to be a member but was still very young, RV was probably set to debut in 2015 when Yeri was oficially 16 in Korea. Today, ever since the concept of a group that keeps expanding in members the way we see with NCT is more acceptable and proven to be successful, but SM should be very clear in their intentions to not mislead the still small aespa fandom, cause I think once the fans set their support for a 4 member group, it's going to be harder to accept anyone new.

I personally don't think so I think smaller groups usually get to all shine brighter as members have more space to shine and not overwhelm each other ,there is no this member carry the group as every one can show what they got Don't get me wrong big groups can be splendid eg NCT EXO when they were 12 ,other big groups Izone or seveteen But Aespa Really complement each other now ,like their stage was hella good Like all the members have a great chemistry together,it feels well distributed and balanced but SM knows it's groups so I'll just wait until then

For me, yeah they are already great at just 4 members. Well, if SM decides to add more members, I'm still going to be okay with it. My biases (even secondary biases) are mostly main rappers (heck, even in 4 groups that I ult from Big 3), but my bias in Aespa would be maybe Karina?

adding only one member with no main position is an old mistake they would make again... because that’s exactly what happened to red velvet and yeri still gets hate for lots of things, if sm would really do it again... so help us god 😭 i would be so worried for that girl :((

And with that, I don't blame those who leave the entertainment industry altogether as no one should either because trainee life is not easy I mean look at those idols who had to train for 10 years plus even if you do debut, the chances of failure are much higher than the chances of succeeding. It's like businesses in a sense, a lot of them fail every year new groups or soloists are trying to be in the small percentage that succeed.
