Pokemon Journeys is the newest generation of the Pokemon Anime. However, despite the many highs, there are also several criticisms of it. Today I bring you the twenty-third part in my rewrite of this new series, where I will attempt to fix some of these issues, as well as add in some things I would've liked to have seen in the series so far. Pokémon Journeys: The Series is the eighth part of the anime series. It features all of the regions from the main-series games, including the Generation VIII games Pokémon Sword and Shield. This series shares its Japanese name with the original series when the anime first premiered in 1997, and is officially labeled with "2019", the year this series started in, for disambiguation. This new series focuses on the two protagonists Ash Ketchum and Goh, along with their partners Pikachu and Cinderace. It also features a young girl named Koharu (Chloe), who has a Yamper, and her father, Professor Sakuragi (Cerise), who runs a laboratory in Vermilion City. It features all the regions that have appeared in the Pokémon games, from Kanto to Galar. Pokémon from each region will also appear while Ash is pursing Leon in the Pokemon World Coronation Series (PWC) and Goh is chasing his dream in Project Mew.

Quite the 6-on-6 match. It was a very descriptive battle, and for the first one, you did a great job. The back and forth between the two kept the battle tense, and you did a good job demonstrating how intelligent Rinto is. Nice to see the OG Journeys team get one more battle together prior to the Masters 8 since we're going to be doing a rotation. Wow, I did not see Giovanni coming as the member replacing Diantha, but it makes total sense given his obsession with power. The World stage gives him the perfect opportunity. Nice conclusion to Chloe's story. Having her become a writer is a unique goal from her father and fits the idea that Chloe's story was all about new experiences she told to her class, something that would make sense for a writer. I can already imagine little eye cather shorts where we see Alexa and Chloe interview each member of the Masters 8. Like a little promotional thing, the studio would do to hype up the tournament. A round Robin is all I ever wanted from the Masters 8, and now we can see how Ash stacks up to each trainer individually. Allowing for several match ups that weren't possible on a single bracket style. As far as my thoughts on each match up so far (ignoring Cynthia vs. Iris) Ash vs. Leon is surprising, but it makes sense since it'll give Ash a chance to lose and learn something we will need to win the second time around. Plus, he did promise Infernape would get a chance to fight Charizard. Now he can fight it here, and Pikachu can in the finals Giovanni vs. Lance is going to be brutal if boss rocket busts out Mewtwo as a demonstration of his might. Alain vs. Steven is a rematch I've been waiting to see. Wonder who will win that match up. Mega Charizard x vs. Mega Metagross rematch time! Also, Thwacky is 100% gonna evolve in a battle with Giovanni as one final middle finger to its old, scary boss. Mark my words people!

I found this what if recently and have been enjoying it a lot.Ash have a proper main rival, Giovanni have a major role and Ash will be facing all Masters 8 in 6 vs 6 format, all of these makes it way better than the canon. I am hoping Ash will use his old Pokemon in Masters 8 too. New subscriber here.

I imagine if ash uses his old Pokemon for this battle it be something like muk vs azumarill Rowlet vs Magnezone pignite vs roserade hawlucha vs Garchomp gliscor vs talonflame Heracross vs gallade

Honestly those feel like some strange choices, other than the fact they're Pokémon that could use some wins. Heracross definitely would not be there as a replacement for Kleavor. Kleavor and Gallade were rivals

@@ElectroPikachu my bad I didn't take that into consideration. I tried to pick up Pokemon from each region to keep it balanced though I accidentally pick 2 from the Sinnoh team

@@t-ut7ez Understandable. Each of the Pokémon you mentioned do get battles in the future (including Torterra, whom you now replaced with Rowlet). Rowlet and Heracross even get two

And have Silver appear in Pokemon Journeys Rewrite by Electro Pikachu. The reason I wanted Silver in Pokemon Journeys because he is the son of Giovanni, leader of Team Rocket, and the trainer that Jimmy fought with his Cyndaquil.

this not half bad but if being honest i still enjoy part 22 more i just wish ash use more older pokemon i understood this team that lost to Rinto and this team what's the win but i kind feel like not alot ash odder pokemon going use in master 8 sense their only going be 3 match in the master 8 however i still enjoy this part it's amazing what if this part is a 7 out of 10 great job keep up the awesome work

Since Giovanni is the one of the Master 8 replacing Diantha, where is Silver? You know, the red hair kid with a Nidoking who fought Jimmy when his Typhlosion was just a Cyndaquil? The red haired kid who is the son of Giovanni, leader of Team Rocket. If so, I would like to see Silver teaming up with Ash to help bring down the entire Team Rocket organization.

Electro Pikachu, I have a question regarding your Pokemon Journeys Rewrite? My question is: Is it true that the entire Team Rocket organization will be disbanded and destroyed in your Pokemon Journeys Rewrite, Yes or No. The reason I say this was because the entire Team Rocket organization was never destroyed and was never disbanded in the anime. They became Karma Houndini in the end of Pokemon Journeys. Also, in the anime, since Team Rocket was never disbanded, they're still operating.

Two reasons. First: As stated in the episode, this will be a round robin style tournament, meaning every member will fight each other at least once each. No matter what, Ash was going to fight Leon at least once. Second: Never let them know your next move

Why is Giovanni there, it should be Diantha as the 5th strongest as it is in the original timeline. I do feel that this is part of Team Rocket’s big plan whatever that will be.

Diantha has already been defeated by Ash, and we have Alain to represent Kalos. We don't need two Kalos reps

I think you should've kept the Masters 8 the same as in the main timeline, but still kept the round robin format. Having Ash face Giovanni is a regular tournament just doesn't feel right to me.

It's not really a regular tournament though, and even if it was, in the games your final battle is with him as a Gym Leader, which is still a competitive setting.
