Force and pressure are different. I wouldn't say a therapist needs to be very musculous, but he/she certainly needs to have self awarenes about it's own body. Someone can be very musculous and not bem selfwareness. More important to be someone active than big. 😉 I'm a massage therapist myself. I'm Brazilian and I'm not musculous, but I'm health and selfware and my clients always return 😊

How is force and pressure different? You need force in order to apply pressure. Physical fitness has little relevance in this conversation. There are only two factors to pressure . 1 Force 2 Surface area

@@Bradley9967 The difference between force and pressure lies in body biomechanics. If a massage therapist uses force during the massage, within a few years he will have injuries. But if he uses pressure, he uses his own body weight, and has the necessary pressure without getting hurt.
