Damn it. I was really hoping to find mine but I have an equal mix of A&B, C&D and E. Not even one more than another. So frustrating! I could take a guess from the video, but just intuitively, I feel more feminine and short in the body and more angular in the face. So.... Whatever that means. Maybe I should go through and analyze my "moderate" answers more to fall somewhere out of center. The way Chi described it, I would have guessed soft natural.

i enjoyed it as well except this focus on saying "hourglass" shape. as using this term makes women measure their bust-waist-hips and then the women will say "but i have an hourglass figure because my waist is smaller than my bust and hips" and this will cause them to mistype themselves. ALL of the types can have a technical "hourglass" shape. but super models are flamboyant natural....but they all have an hourglass figure. their measurements typically look like this: 34-24-34...and that is an "hourglass" figure. then the focus on specific heights as opposed to just saying tall or short. because 5'6" is NOT TALL it is considered average across the world statistics. but it is a very good description of kibbes book.

You are right- exotic feature or not is totally relative and subjective. Kibbe also said do not be too hang up on one thing- focus on your essence instead . If you feel like you are closer to dramatic, you probably should trust your intuition.

yeah me too! I do think I have some flamboyant gamine features but from her description I fall into soft gamine. I guess what really is going to help set apart is trying flamboyant and soft gamine clothes on myself

@@bangtanarmytan4199 Maybe you can try taking some online quizzes. Because after watching a bunch of these videos and taking quiz on 3-4 different websites I think now I am sure that I am romantic. Also many a times asking someone else's opinion on our body can be helpful instead of figuring it out ourselves because we tend to overthink and nitpick when it comes to our own self. So asking mom or friends can help.

Maybe i can help! I've been falling down the Kibbe rabbit hole for years now 😅 The answer you're looking for is: bone structure. That's the main difference between these types. Where they look alike is the yin flesh, the softness on top of the bones. But the silhouettes are completely different. Soft Dramatics are Dramatics with softness on top of them, with Yin. They have a long vertical line (they look taller than they are, even if they're small) and their clothes must accommodate the curvy line at their bust. It doesn't mean that they have to be busty, but their bust pushes the fabric outwards and forwards (in at the armpits, out at the bust, in below the bust, and then it just falls straight). That's what Kibbe calls "curves" because if you were to draw the outline of the silhouette, the line would curve, not fall straight down from the shoulders. Curves are the common denominator of all the types you wondered about, so it's important to understand that concept. Soft Naturals have curves, but their main focal point is the width in their shoulders. It is like a frame for their curves to shine. So their clothes should have room for both their shoulders and their bust, hence why Kibbe recommends unconstructed garments and relaxed silhouettes. Their width does the structure of their silhouette. Romantics are all yin, as explained in the video. They don't have a long vertical line, they don't have width - they can appear wide but it comes from their flesh, their softness, not their bone structure. They are delicate and their silhouette is rounded. You can't be more yin or softer than Romantics. Theatrical Romantics have the delicate bone structure of Romantics, but with yang elements added to it, typically sharpness in the face, shoulders, or vertical line but (just like Flamboyant Gamines) not enough yang to be categorised as a yang type: remember, their frame is first and foremost romantic. They will not appear tall, they will not have width. It's all about proportions, the same way you won't have the same colour if you mix a drop of red in white paint or if you mix a drop of white in red paint. In short, try to not focus on how the body looks, but on how fabric behaves on the body. A same garment would look extremely different if worn by a Soft Dramatic or by a Soft Natural or by a Romantic or a Theatrical Romantic, because their proportions are wildly different. I think a good way to find the difference between the two is to look it the face me the shoulder. For gamines the shoulders are wider or the breasts are heavier that theatrical romantic and the face have more Sharp edges with the eyes being more upturned. Hope that helps

I had the same issue actually 😜 but 2 years ago I suppose. I think I didn't want to admit that I am soft gamine, I thought that it is a worse type :P Maybe try to wear some SG type clothes and then TR type clothes. You will see which flatter you better. Looking for pictures of celebrieties of these types should help too. It helped me 😊 and On Aly Art Channel you can find many material about this.

Also Soft gamines, and gamines at all, look a little bit like dolls, look younger then their age is, and SG just like Chi said - mostly they seem to feel overweight even if they aren't 😪

According to Kibbe system, shorter girls tend to be more concentrated in the Gamines and Romantics unless you appear to be much taller than your actually height. Large eyes are very common in Gamines!

i recommend you to look at your photos, at your whole body from head to toes when you taking the kibbe body test. dont look in the mirror. i thought that i am a romantic or gamine, because i am small and i have small hands and feets. then i looked at my photos and noticed that i look more dense, squarish , wider shoulders. i am a soft natural :)

"Naturals" have "width" in their bone structure (do you have broad shoulders?), and they are more Yang than "Classics". Classics are known for being symmetric, with their face and bone structure.
