I like the use of cooperative. I think another good way to think about submission within our community is DOES SHE TRUST YOUR GUIDANCE?. I think it's a lot to be said about a man with a plan, vision, and executes action. When I first got married I struggled with this soooo much and I used to ask the ladies at Bible Study about how to be a better Biblical wife (aka more submissive). One of them told me throw that idea out the window and just TRUST HIM. Trust that yall working towards the same goal. That he has a good plan and contingencies and is willing to take good council, that he can be consistent and diligent. If he can and you can see him working towards the goal he planned for yall, then you can trust his decisions and submission is just natural. But that overnight submit to me because I'm a man foolishness that YT men are promoting is a one way ticket to bad news.

I’m not sure why I found this question to be so incredibly Odd! Especially because a woman asked you, a man. Not that she asked “how to be submissive” but “how to show a man you’re submissive”, that’s a huge difference. That comes in your natural behaviors and your reaction to things. Things as simple as not speaking when a man speaks and not being dominate. Being meek, quick to listen and above all else always showing respect and Honor!! When submission is a trait a woman has and the man is wise enough (major key) to even know to look for it, he’ll discern it in you overtime based on how you carry yourself. Someone who wants to know “how to show it” couldn’t currently be operating in submission and more so wants to “come off” as submissive vs. actually being a submissive woman, that’s another huge difference… The difference between “appearing to be” vs. actually BEING. For any women out there, if you truly want to learn submission, I would suggest learning how to submit to God first. Once you submit to God submitting to a man will be a breeze because you’ve already put the one who matters most where he rightfully belongs.
