Most black men are not looking to have a family and a faithful relationship. They are more worried about being the MAN to their friends. They get called hen pecked or simps for being a strong loyal partner in a relationship.

@Yavenay Sanchez How are they different when BOTH are crying about child support? They have the same mentality. Why are women having babies with a man with no job? Also, exactly what makes a man a Pooky?
@EdenSophia118
@EdenSophia118 2 жыл бұрын
@Yavenay Sanchez Let us not play that "Pooky Game" that bm love to play. Whenever something happens, "Oh, that's Pooky". That is to absolve THEMSELVES from any personal responsibility for the community and to have an excuse NOT DO SOMETHING about the ills in the communities.. In their minds, calling him Pooky somehow makes him an alien being separate from the rest when in fact, it doesn't. Pooky is in fact a bm just like the rest. The difference is, he is NOT PRETENDING.

There is no vice versa for BW. It is a man's job to protect and to provide for his community. The only reason so many BW think it's their role is because BM have been failing at manhood for so long. With this being said, BW have always supported BM.
@MsAngelelee
@MsAngelelee 2 жыл бұрын
We have not had a choice as BW. BM have decided not to step up. BW have done it out of necessity, not because we ever wanted this role. When I said vice versa, I meant taking care of each other not in the form of being a provider or a protector. As a wife, my role is to take care of my husband in the sense of being a help mate not as the head of the house hold. Don't get it twisted, if I had to take that role should something happen and my husband is not able, I can and will assume the role.

It’s a question I asked myself which motivated me to become the man I am supposed to be and to stop being an underachiever in life. It also took away the bitterness I had towards my ex. She wasn’t perfect and did a lot of things wrong but it’s a sobering reality when you can honestly say you weren’t the type of man you would want your sister or daughter to date

Excellent question! Sadly, in too many cases, the male relatives really don't care what happens to their female relatives; they'll side with men outside of the family against their sister, nieces or female cousins which immediately devalues and isolates her in the sight of the "suitor". He understands she has no protection or will be viewed as too picky. That's certainly been my experience.

Been married for 8 years and alot of what you say about men is exactly what was different about my husband. He doesn't understand the struggles his friends have in their so called marriages because they don't have any respect or admiration for their wives.... alot of it starts with a man not feeling intimidated or demeaned because his wife is able to do for herself. He has always encouraged me and been proud of my accomplishments, just like how I do for him. Doesn't matter who makes more, who stays home or whatever.... sometimes I make more, sometimes he does. Both of us stayed home at different times with the kids based on who had more financial power. We think as a team, a unit, with one goal in mind. He's never ever had to ask me for submission 😒 I respecthim and know he makes sound decisions...I know if I disagree I'll tell him and he'll take it into consideration. Great information brah. As a Black man I see what's wrong with the community. I also understand I come from a place of privilege. I grew up with a strong father, grandfather and Uncle. I come from strong Blackman stock. That being said unfortunately, I've been divorced twice and have been through it man. But like you said I had to look at myself, and found out I have been choosing wrong. I was the classic man that looked for the woman to 'save'. My mindset was if I safe her she would love me absolutely. I had to fix myself, and seek out who I really need to be my partner. I say all this because as I man I had to look at myself and my flaws and do better. I know now I'm ready to find my Queen to be.

Your story about strategizing with your wife made me happy. I think so many black women want a man they can plan and strategize with. I know I did. Family ties were also very important for most of them then - many went to great lengths to find family members. Even during slavery, some men hired themselves out to purchase their wives and children out of bondage. I think the mentality of men being proud to be men and providers eroded during the 70s when the pimp game came to the forefront with the blaxploitation movies, etc. As a result, most of our men act like pimps to this day - no love for women, just viewing them as prey (whatever they can get without giving in return).

There is seemingly no ROI and it's not a measure of success in this capitalist system. So a lot men, typically, see emotional growth as unecessary, not worthwhile, or as an exclusive feminine/infantile trait. Who you were before is your testimony that flowed into the things that you've done in your life and continuing to do that reflect who you are now and who you are becoming. Same reflection on the outside however the process and purpose you are aligning yourself with keep showing itself to be more profound, productive and true to who you are on the inside. You are doing the work, which we all have to do. The mirror that is reflective of your inner self is going to empower those who are like minded and offend those who are not. You and your family are a blessing. Thank you, appreciate you king 👍🙏😌💐👏👑💖

These are facts for all human beings if you want something better, you have to put in work. You don’t get to the finish line by looking like a winner you have to be one. That’s just life, anything worth having requires positive energy and work. Me and my husband was in the same position but I trusted that my husband would not let us down because I knew his spirit he stood in his shit, and took on the load he made me feel safe and secure and still do.

Besides pastors such as Paul Washer and John Mac Arthur, this man is one of the realest on You Tube. A solid, easy-going straight-to-the-point all out stand-up man. I love it when he said, " I want my wife at home" , AAAAAmmmEEEEEnnn (Amen multiplied). His wife is actually willing to understand that and and submit to that, no feminism or rebellion She thinks with him, not against him. They think as one. This brother deserves a woman like her. This story is lovely for real. This man would definitely be a great pastor. Much Grace, Peace, Love, Mercy and Respect to you my brother,🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍💯💯💯

"When the leader is weak, the team is losing. When the leader is strong, so is the team." - my motto nowadays We men are expected to be the leaders of our homes and our communities. Sure, a woman is capable of doing some things like a man, BUT we men are expected to be the providers and protectors. When that dynamic has been removed, the homes and the communities are off balance and vulnerable. We must stand firm as men, reject the spineless expectations being laid before us by the bitter boys of certain spaces online and in life, and rise up to be leaders again. If we never saw this growing up, learn to become the leader that's needed. There are plenty of strong, positive role models and mentors out there to learn from. I'll say this, being a man of God, read the Bible. There's examples of men being men in the Word. Look to Jesus and His examples! Men, WE HAVE TO COME BACK TO OUR POSITION! WE...HAVE...TO!

You are NOT saying anything that doesn't provide truth. BM and BW both have had different challenges in life and both are in control of how they respond to those challenges. Sometimes self reflection is the BEST teacher; however, unfortunately, some ignore what is TRUE about themselves. I think it is phenomenal that you talk about your wife and you give her recognition for her hard work and how it helps you level up. When you support and encourage your partner, she works harder and you gain even more respect from her. I know that BW could toot their own horn, and they shouldn't have to, but they are NOT getting the recognition they so RICHLY deserved. For those BM who are disparaging or trying to LUMP all BW the same, need to take a good, long look at where BW have come from (slaves, nannies, maids and LEVELED UP to entrepreneurs, managers, leaders, CEO, Lawyers and mover and shakers). Many have paved the way for others. It seems easier for some BM to be disparaging than to give credit where credit is due. We all know there are GOLD Digging MEN and WOMEN, but you can't generalize all for the actions of a FEW. It has NEVER, EVER been easy for BW or BM, so why are some trying to make it harder for both? When you talk poorly about others, you simply draw negative attention to yourself. BM/BW have to DO better!

In my circle I've def seen men who want a family and don't have a problem with providing. Their problem with women is usually most women are trying to keep up with the things they see on TV and social media. And that's cool we deserve nice things but the patience part of loving someone isn't there. Also they believe in their friends more than they do their partners, still want to do things they did in their singleness without anyone saying something about it, and tear them down if they don't agree with something they say or they don't get what they want when they want it. My question I guess would be if marriage, a covenant between 2 people by God, is the goal in dating at what point do you start having faith in that person and the situation that God put you in? Because just as easy as someone could lie on you, or your job fire you when you know you've been putting in work to better yourself and your relationship is she solid if she leaves? Vice-versa. The real reason men don't want to go on dates because it's like okay you're driving the boat i have no issue providing for and serving you on but you can not do anything to better it, crash it into a iceberg, and/or jump ship at anytime with no actual repercussions on your end and it's actually incentivised with cs and alimony, unless it's a rare case like this young man, and the media for you to do so while we drown in the aftermath. Women usually date up and lead in divorce filings and it could be because we're "toxic" in their eyes. We're required to have faith from the jump. Which we should but again vice-versa.
@tanyagivens4338
@tanyagivens4338 2 жыл бұрын
I think women hate dating too. It is usually two people putting their best foot forward. This makes it hard to really get to know each other. But also, we intend to date without true purpose. If you know you want to get married, don't act like you just want friends, tell your potential partner, see if they are in the same place, and negotiate what you want in a relationship. If you both are willing to make the sacrifice during the negotiation (dating) period, then start getting to know each other in more real situations and environments. That might be the person for you. If not, keep it moving.

I think the only way, I agree, is to be upfront with your goals and what you want in life. Also follow your intuition, if you are true in what you want and who you are and the person you’re with is not with that, you will know. Don’t waste your time. If the person you’re with can agree and can also share themselves and you’re good with it, you got a good start that can lead to something if you want it to. I dunno what happened along the way, but ppl need to get back to being themselves and finding someone who gels with them as opposed to acting like what they think is attractive and then attracting what they don’t want. Good luck to you and best wishes for your future

It sounds like your friends have unrealistic expectations about women. Every human is born with character flaws. If you don't stick around through petty character flaws your wont lern how to problem solve or if you refuse to date over them, There is no human you are going to get with that doesnt have them. Period. If its not the ones you mentioned its something else. I think men have a hard time problem solving and creating emotionally healthy environments so women can be themselves. Men also think they are paying for women to act a certain role. Roles are for actors. In real life people being their authentic self has issues and shadows. Alot of women file for divorce because of intimacy and emotinal issues. Thinking that being a provider is all thats required is going to get you divorced when you don't understand growth beyond the physical. Its called transcendence. Men need to learn this and tolerance. As well as how to facilitate intimacy outside the bedroom.

Not to compare, but this brother and Kevin Samuels both have great points. If you know how to intertwine them both and have the wisdom to understand what knowledge to use in which situation and with what woman or what type of woman is worth the pain and effort and which ones are not, then common-sense and discernment will guide you from there. Patients is a virtue. Every strong man must be able to take a little pain, but know your limits, be aware of your signs (good or bad) , and take heed to your warnings. I notice that most comments on these videos are from women, and most of Kevins are men. We both (male and female) can learn something from both, ( this man and Kevin Samuels). I am a man and I love these videos. This cat is sharp in his wisdom when it comes to manhood and dealing with women. I am never too prideful to seek more wisdom. Once you stop learning, you stop growing and just like many of these modern-day women need stop hating men for being men, well..... vice-versa!!!
