Im a second time mom and I will be packing plenty too. Insurance doesn’t cover home birth so I will be birthing at the hospital and I will bring anything to make it feel homey to me! Everyone’s different💛

I actually really appreciate the amount of stuff that she shared, especially as a mom who was planning a natural un medicated birth. I feel like so many of the hospital bag videos that I have watched have been from women who planned on having epidurals or c-sections, which is completely fine and I am not trying to say one way is better than another, but it was really great to see what someone from another perspective would pack. I am planning an unmediated natural birth in a birth center and she gave me some great ideas of things that I could bring to help with relaxation and pain management. In the end, I would rather be over prepared than underprepared and I don’t see a problem with over packing at all especially since “you don’t know how things would progress.” If you felt fine with much less stuff, then power to you, but sometimes packing like this can help relieve the stress that comes from not knowing and being out of control because you know you are as prepared as you could possibly be. Anyway, thank you for making this video so thorough. I am due on May 4th and will definitely be using this list as a prep guide.
