Keeping a freezer full of meat comes with a bit of worry. There is the threat of the freezer going out or losing electricity. Making a plan is important and we have one that we want to share with you on today's video.

We have an electric well but you can purchase a "Bison Pump" and it will turn your well into a hand pump well without electricity incase you dont have power, just a tip for those without the water tower!

This is an answer to my prayers! You came up on my feed and watched the whole thing while cooking dinner. I live in N Tx and hope to find a homestead soon but I have been practicing since 2009. This video has helped me with my calculations and procedures. And the ending was the best part.

Where do you get your shawls? They are beautiful. I live in a 109 year old farmhouse. I could use one instead of my house coat for warmth.

I knit them using wool yarn. Yes, they are very warm and I am able to milk cows easily. I adapted the pattern "Claire's Carolina Shawl" from Etsy. Thank you! The shawls are my favorite.
