There’s no way Lavine or Dame are traded before the deadline if even then. The Bulls couldn’t max Lavine this off-season while also adding the players they have. To do an early max extension you have to have a certain percentage of cap space available. Now they can max him next off-season even if over the cap.

So its pretty clear if teams would have been interested in him, he would have been moved. So with zero teams interested in him, he is stuck as a 76er till he improves his shot where he is tradeable or gets interest from teams. 3 things have to happen for Ben Simmons to be traded, a team has to be willing to take his 144 million contract, a team has to have cap space to take ben simmons, and they have to have assets or players they willing to move for ben simmons. Right now its 0 for 3 on all 3 of those conditions for Ben Simmons to be moved.

They are both 2 points in an hundred possession game. And let’s not bring up Turnovers. When is it acceptable for a big man to have 16 in 2 games? What about missed open layups? As a Kings fan I just don’t think they trade Fox or Hali, anytime Fox is ever brought up in trades it’s other teams asking for him in which it seems the Kings deny. I think a Fox for Ben thing makes sense I just really don’t think the Kings do it because the entire city may riot if Fox goes unless it’s somehow partnered with moving Buddy and Bagley for something positive.

Ben Simmons and Orlando is a perfect fit. Orlando has a bunch of intriguing young guys to trade. Surround Ben with some shooters and a khris Middleton type of player and then unleash Bens full court game. Ben Simmons is Giannis WITHOUT the killer instinct. Great defender, great in transition, great passer, and is willing to share the ball. He’s also a terrible shooter. Surround him with guys that can compensate for his weaknesses and Orlando would be an instant playoff team.

Would be funny if Dennis Schwarzenegger and Ben Kardashian ended up in the same team by the end of the off season.

Y’all take for granted that the same Damian Lillard trade that is there now will be there at the trade deadline. I see Simmons in Philly at the beginning of the season and if the jumpshot is going up consistently he’ll stay. I don’t see Portland making any significant moves that says “Dame stay” so they may do that trade even if Simmons is shooting. Simmons will have to get his points per game up to 25 to convince Philly to turn down that trade.

As a Pacers fan, I wouldn't touch Simmons but would love to be part of a 3 team deal with Philly and GS to acquire either Kuminga or Moody.
