Technically, that claim is true. In the spring of 2006, there was a Kane impostor, dressed in the "classic" pre-2000 Kane costume and stalking the real Kane. It led to the storyline of Kane finally defeating his lookalike nemesis and taking his mask back. The man behind the mask was Drew Hankinson, who later went on to become the "Luke Gallows" character. So Kane WAS multiple people, but WWE never pretended they weren't.

The RAW after Kane won the title was in Cleveland. I was there curtesy of Mick Foley, a friend of mine. I remember it like yesterday. That was the one time that Mick was in Cleveland, Youngstown, or Pittsburg that Mick couldn’t hang out after or stay at my house because he was hurting so bad from that Hell in a Cell match. Kane also picked a guy up out of the crowed and beat the crap out of him. Rough night for that fan! That’s when Kane was completely jacked and with Mark Henry considered the strongest man in Wrestling. He picked up a 200lbs guy like he was a child then threw him like a rag doll then beat the hell out of him.

@@JoshuaD.Howard but he still most likely got the run cuz of Eddie. Vince would never have put the World HEAVYweight title on a cruiserweight, and the way he was treated after winning the belt (constantly losing to bigger guys like Mark Henry, JBL, etc.) and not winning the title in the main event of Mania despite winning the rumble (this was one of the first times the rumble winner didn't main event mania) further cements that point. Actually the hardcore title WAS the Wrestlemania 5 belt that they smashed up on live TV (Hennig & Poffo), which was then used for the first WWF hardcore title as if you look at the title strap, it's not got paint spills on it like the other hardcore titles because that was actually given to Foley on raw (who said that he had to take the title back to Stephanie to get it fixed because Dewey at the time removed all of the duct tape and everything fell off of it) and the "newer" hardcore title was a replica winged eagle belt that they smashed up to make it look like the hardcore title that Foley was awarded on Raw before Survivor Series '98, and then the "older" hardcore title was sold online via an auction hence why as I said before, you don't see the actual paint stains on the title belt strap.

Funny how people discredit Russo and say that he was only good in WWE because he had Vince McMahon as a filter. Vince McMahon is the same guy who rewrites scripts two minutes before RAWs and books terrible shows, whereas when Russo was writer, you had the compelling "Stone Cold" v Mr McMahon feud.
@jliller
@jliller Жыл бұрын
@@dhenderson1810 Someone was clearly filtering Russo if you compare his WWF to his WCW and TNA. Maybe credit should go to Pat Patterson instead of Vince? However, the idea that Vince was a good filter circa 2000, but senile and incompetent during the last five years or so isn't a contradiction. All talent eventually fades with age, including Vince's. There's also the matter of whose ideas he was filtering. 20-25 years ago Vince wasn't hiring former soap opera writers, and he didn't have sycophants around him.

I think the most prolific myth fans still believe is actually the Hardcore belt, is the old smashed up champion belt. Some of these myths I've heard of and some of them I haven't but there is not a single myth I've heard more from other people than where that hardcore belt came from, and maybe there is a lot of fans who know it's not that smashed up belt now, but I bet at least at one time it was at least the most popular one people believed.

No one was there, and all the police's evidence is circumstantial. The police would need more if they had to take it to court. No-one knows for sure. Besides, there are unanswered questions the police never answered, and one source said that police contaminated evidence at the scene. Kevin Sullivan had a known gripe with both Chris and Nancy, and Daniel is a product of their love, so Sullivan had motive to take out all three. He was jealous of Benoit's legacy, and tried to destroy it, so he could have framed him. Yet Sullivan was never even interrogated, even if if was to dismiss him as a suspect. Vince McMahon apparently also could have wanted Benoir out the way, as one anonymous source reports that Benoit blamed Vince for Eddie dying due to the sham Wellness Policy, and he would go to the media and tell them everything. This was two weeks before that weekend. Also, a WWE official supposedly did a welfare check the weekend the Benoits died and called police. Also, someone edited Nancy's Wiki page to include her death date, eight hours before media and the public were informed of her death, meaning either a police leak, or it was the doer or someone who knew she was dead. Yet police didn't follow this line of inquiry.
