I've tried a lot of diets including the intermediate fasting diets. Nothing has improved my body and performance like following the dolce diet advice from this page and copying meals I see on your instagram. Dolce diet advise is the only thing I will ever listen to again.

Mike and two fitness guys (Greg Doucette and Jeff Nippard) never let go of the pro-carb/fructose stance. Everyone else shifted, shifted and shited, again and again. After trying a few other fad type diets (intermittent fasting and very low carbs) I'm now back to this and I feel fantastic.

6:49 the answer. Short: If you add something protein and/or fat to it the glycemic index drops significantly. So the white rice will not spike insulin that much = less fat storing.

Hey Mike just wanted to give you an update quick bc I haven't for a while but as I mentioned before following your advice I dropped 45lbs in 6 months and have kept it off for over a year now and feeling fantastic all the time. I still got about 20lbs to go but that's mostly just bc I still cheat once in a while but I'll get the rest of way there. Just been checkin back in again more often to enjoy your motivation and positivity! Thanks brother!!!!

@@DolceDiet every expert bases results on studies, which is fine, but different people are studied in each study. So that doesn't make it fair, not every body responds the same way to the same foods. Or they do studies on rats which isn't exactly close either.

So about 10 years ago I used to work with a young man who went on to become either mr. Teenage universe or Olympia I don't remember which one. Needless to say he would bring a huge lunch box of food and one day he had a big bowl of white rice with steak on top of it. I remember asking him about the white rice and he actually said the same thing that you mentioned in the video about mixing the carbs with protein. Sounds like he was a pretty smart guy. And of course another great video thanks!

I have a question, This is probly not the best video to ask this question on but im gonna ask anyways in hopes you see it and answer it.. Im still tryna lose this last little flab around my lower abs and tiny little jiggly love handles on my lower sides.. Im doing Liss fadted but i wanna know if its beneficial to do morning jogs fasted?? Instead of just walking fasted can i nog fasted to burn more calories? Or will this hurt me my taking using muscle instead of fat for energy like LISS? I know boxers,wrestlers and fighters do morning runs..are they doing fasted morning runs??

nick porter Try to get your hands on heart rate monitor and don’t let you BPM go higher than 60-70 percent of you maximum heart rate. 220-(your age) = 100% BPM Figure out your max and then keep your heart rate in that 60-70% zone to reap the benefits of LISS. You can try all types of cardio and it is ok as long as you watch your heart rate.
@jay_the_descendant
@jay_the_descendant 5 жыл бұрын
For me when doing LISS I usually keep my heart rate between 90-120 BPM. If my heart rate rises too much I take it easier and slow my pace... Depending on your fitness level, jogging may be ok, but measure your heart rate next time you jog and you’ll know.

@DolceDiet

Without much more detail hard to say exactly BUT, we focus on 1) setting goals 2) creating daily action steps 3) finding a support system to keep us accountable 4) eliminate easy access to "trouble" foods (or people!) 5) replace old bad habits with new healthy habits. One tip we use with great success is late night apples and peanut butter as a snack instead of sugars or salty items.

Hey mike. Is there a best food to eat to burn fat. Protein veggies. I have been working out average 5 days a week 2 muscle group weight training. And recently I started to do a 25 minute Hiit cardio after my weights then 10 to 20 minutes light cardio on a machine. Went from 211 to 218 but still have a fair bit of body fat. @@DolceDiet Well that just isn't quite correct. Brown is still superior to white rice nutritionally, slightly better across a variety of mineral categories plus a lot more fibre to slow digestion and less of a blood sugar spike. Plug it into Cronometer and take a look. Still white rice is pretty decent - and you can make an argument for it as a quick carb source before a workout. Yes, as soon as you add meat to a carb source you will potentiate the glycemic index spike, but still meat with brown will be slightly better than meat with white in terms of spike. And that's another ontop of a variety of reasons why I don't eat meat. It's not like I don't have any glycogen stores because I use brown instead of white... especially considering rice isn't my only carb source.
