I think it's hilarious we're talking about 83/85 inch TVs being small. 😆 I'm definitely more with Brian here that I'd rather pay for top tier picture quality than outright size. Not to mention my tower speakers would block a 100 inch TV. Also thinking about going from a 77 inch C1 to an 83 inch G4 this year.

My top 3 most anticipated 2024 TVs: 1. Hisense UX 110 inch - I think HiSense is overall the better TV brand than TCL. They are displays just looks better especially from my angle 2. Sony X95M/A95M - Sony is premium quality and hopefully they’re even better than the 2023 TVs and more size options, especially for the LED flagship small and big hopefully 65 inches to 100 inches 3. Samsung S95D - hopefully we won’t have the same problem as the 2023 model with the one connect box not utilizing the full HDMI 2.1 ports. And also hopefully this TV works way better with a PC and not have those occasional blackouts. I’m considering getting into PC gaming, so Samsung hopefully fixes that this year.

I like how you guys review the TV's you would purchase! Let hope Sony doesn't delay their Master Series till the end of summer this year!

I relate to both of your opinions as they are genuine, thanks for keeping it real. For me, my most wanted is the 98" Hisense UX, have the 85" UX and am pleasantly surprised on the quality and performance but sitting at 11' was not the best, I will turn it in and wait a few months for the 98" version.

I bought a LG G3 77" TV and I would have to say with the MLA it is definitely better than the C3. This TV'S picture is unbelievable and Color and Clarity and sharpness and detail is in my opinion number 1. HDR 4K is fantastic.

I think you guys hit all the TVs I’ll be looking at in 2024. G4 at 83 inch, S95D, and Sonys new mini Led.

I'm most interested in seeing what could be the best overall combo of size and quality: 97" LG G4/M4. It was interesting hearing Brian's take on no MLA being a showstopper for purchasing the G2 (and presumably the G4) at 97". I think the G4 with the new A11 processor at that size should be bright enough but I'm curious to see what it may be "missing" due to the lack of MLA. Also very curious to see what LG does with the pricing giving that this is their 3rd year with 97" OLED panels and the XL TV size pressure from the LED companies at well under $10K for premium LED sets. Also, lack of MLA should hopefully play into the pricing as well. I pray that it's reduced from the $25K price that it's been for over 2 years now. Best case IMO is $15K (still a huge improvement). Here's to hoping 🤞

The thing with size above 85,Is unless you have a huge wall it would overwhelm it. I do think though the 85 X90L is the perfect sweet spot of size and quality. Performance value plus size for the money. I have a 65 A95L I sit around 6.5 feet from. It’s great. I did recommend a 77 S89C for my uncle. For the money he wanted to spend. That’s a great size/ performance value too.

Love TV would be 83G4, if they have fixed the near black issues and the banding/tinting/uniformity, but truthfully I’m so happy with the 77”S89C performance and price I paid, I don’t have real FOMO going into this year, for once. It fixed nearly all of the complaints I had with the S95B last year. 😊

I just fell out of my chair laughing out loud when Brian said "in sync" and the boy band group popped out of nowhere 😂😂

So recently I went to a restaurant , they had the football game on,, there was this one 48 inch OLED from Samsung in the middle where everyone can see, even though I was far away I could not take my eyes off how nice the tv/game looked, and I don't even like watching sports. Usually I zone things out that I don't like watching but it made me realize I rather go for PQ over size any day.

I’m looking forward to the new offerings from Sony. I want to see what they have in an 85 inch that takes the place of the X 90 L. Will it be a mini LED and how will the cost compare to the X 90 L

In my opinion & with my perception 👀 last year's G3 was the best looking tv albeit just a little better than the A95L...had so much depth.. clarity & fine detail... Can't wait! @Brian's tech therapy Please could you confirm that next Samsung S90/95D will come along mate screen for sure? Cause if it does, I'd run for the 90C before out of stock. Thanks. *Edit : Brian was kind enough to answer me back, and only 95D will come along a "mate" filter. So now I don't know, S90C for 1000€ before out of stock or wait for an hypothetical better S90D model. But will it be ? Seems that the S90C is going to be a reference model regarding the young life of Qd-Oled. If only Samsung would respect your choice not to force update on YOUR Tv🤒

Obviously getting big screen is really tempting but lets not forget ,ABL will kill any content pretty quick ,especially Ray Traycing .For gamers sweet spot still will be 55 inch ,illumination per pixel or smaller. 👌Brian.

SAMSUNG 85” Class Neo QLED 8K QN900C Series Mini LED is at $5497/Amazon but while it’s an “8K”, it’s Not OLED; it’s just a Mini LED. I wonder if the PQ will be As Good as an OLED since it’s an 8K (🤷‍♂️🤔), or not really (?). Thx guys. / not to mention, I’d need to get a new 8K AVR to even See the upscaled content 🙄🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️😂

@brianstechtherapy @fomo if you had to buy a TV before June, and the 83" G4 launches with an absurd price like $6500, the 83" C3 stays around the $3500 mark, the X95L stays around $4300, and the new 85" mini LED models are available from Samsung, Hisense, and TCL, which would you pick up as the best do-it-all single TV for a house?
