How old is your tree, and how big (height and width) will a White Sapote get in LA area? I am thinking of getting one but I only have a small yard. Thanks!

Tree is 8 years old. I've seen huge white sapotes in LA (35 feet tall and 20 feet wide). I prune my tree down and keep it between 15 to 20 feet tall and about 10 feet wide. You can prune white sapote to keep it small and it will still produce plenty of fruit. I know people who keep their white sapote tree 10 feet tall and about 5 - 7 feet wide.

Depends on climate, sun exposure, etc.

If you don't wanna eat the skin, you can use a spoon to scoop out the seeds with the fruit, and can suck or scrape the fruit off the seeds with your teeth.
