The first Old Man Logan was a good dark AU, but a large part of the premise took me out of it. To wit : while it is not impossible to have a wholesale villain alliance, the cliche' where they always fall apart is a valid one. These are egomaniacs who are showmen, bound to hate each other as much and sometimes more than they hate their own heroes, prone to blab, misfire, jump the gun, and just plain not work well with others. IMO, this wholesale Infinity+1 first strike is Mary Sued in the story. I'm also borderline on Mysterio being able to amp up his routine enough to fool Logan.

committing suicide by train didn't kill him, but it supposedly it pushed his healing factor to the limits and took a while for him to recover. Kinda like the time magneto ripped the metal out of his skeleton, and spent a few years talking hours to heal minor injures.

+Cameron Keith except old man Logan was a stand alone alternate universe story so any deaths could be permanent with out screwing up continuity. which is why i usually prefer stand alone titles over on going serials. Also it didn't read like your conventional super hero comic, focusing more on plot and character development than over the top action. you should seriously look into it. I also recommend Origin, and god loves man kills.

In looks, yeah. Old man Logan is more Jotaro than Joseph personality wise, since he's tired but keeps going. You could easily making say 'Good grief' as his catch phrase and would fit. I guess because both seem to be based on Clint Eastwood.

+Comic Drake I find it annoying, DC did it twice within the span of a few years. Marvel, sure, as long as they don't pull a DC, and stop comics that only ran for about 20 issues, I want longer comics, spanning to at least a hundred issues again.

***** that's true but here's the thing that really pissed me off in general with all new all different marvel mary jane is still not with peter parker and she is going to fucking iron man comic which doesn't make any sense because renew your vows sold gangbusters what was the point of doing renew your vows if you aren't going to commit to it give us fans what we want with peter parker and mary jane marriage alive and kicking why can't we have that why

most unbelievable part was logan whoes scent is highened couldn't realise what was happening or I don't know why 1 of like 10 telepath present didn't just shut him down. you can't tell me they were afraid to hurt him.

+Kami Nana his powers grant him the ability to survive gunshots being cut in half and things like that. but it doesn't stop him from growing old, and dying of old age, there is another way for him to die tohugh, you could cut his head off and take it far from his body

GP Gaming Panda GP I never said it stopped him from growing old, I said it granted him longevity. Not a lot of time passed or so it doesn't imply a lot of time passed(relatively speaking). Logan's been alive since the Civil War...that should give you an idea of how slowly he ages.

+Kami Nana Simply put, Logan hasn't used his regenerating powers in a long time, this caused them to go dormant until he finally pops his claws. So until then his powers just faded away.

A few years later it was confirmed that the Hooded Man and Bruce Banner Jr. aka Maestro were indeed Old Man Logan and Baby Bruce from the original OML universe. The Old Man Logan from Secret Wars/ANAD is from a slightly different universe. Confusing! Because there are many inconsistencies from the ANAD runs that were kater explained as "Well, this is actually a different universe!"

I like a lot of multi-verse stuff just for short series, mini-series and one-shots that can be entertaining and there have been some good and a few great stories from way back in the day, but frankly as far as I'm concerned, the 80's and 90's were THE era of great comic books. At least from my experience. I'm sure the 70's, 60's and 2000's had some great moments, I'm sure there were some great stories and moments for lots of characters. But that'll be my favorite era and time. The 90's X-men will always be my favorite edition. I respect all the era's of comics that came before, because they are the foundation and necessary progression from that to bring me that era, I respect all the work and good stories AFTER that era... but I remain in love with that era. I wouldn't mind a return to that style and mindset. New isn't ALWAYS better...

Man, comics are indeed rocketscience - and it was easier to follow the plot of "Crisis on Infinite Earths" from that over company years ago... (You can argue about Phantomias and Disney-Comics, but they are at least FUN.)

I can't keep up with what Marvel is doing, I think you did a great job pasting all of the stories together. I don't know if you know the shit happened to Mark Millar and Steve McNiven while they were trying to get the issues out. After each issue came out something happened that would cause the next one to be delayed. Old Man Logan is my favorite character in all of Marvel, Spider Gwen and Kamala Khan tie in for second. X-23 is in third. The unfinished unpublished pages of the Old Man Logan tie in story are out there. I think they are going to be turned into a one off at a later date, but there is no way to be certain of that.

MARVEL does BIG events really well, although they could back off the frequency of them. But Universal reboots? They don't have the practice DC has had at it. Keep in mind Secret Wars 3 was supposed to ship BI-WEEKLY so it would have been done by October 2015. They rescheduled it and extended it one MORE issue, which shipped today BTW, which screwed so much up.

what about when old man Logan died when he was fighting vs the man who made his skeleton of adamantium. he was covered in adamantium and his healing factor died out. I think that it had the same start as this one

Thor War Machine? so the "Thor Machine" ? All Jokes aside Old Man Logan is one of my favorite storylines in all of the Marvel Multiverse as it addressed things much like the "What if?" comics and put a fresh spin on the potential future. In actuality that Old Man Logan could be adapted into a very cool R-rated Marvel film.... If Disney had the rights to Wolverine in the X-Men.

a wolverine in 616 is deas and if you are refereeing to age of apocalypse wolverine he is there just not around logan at that time and logan climed the wall cause he rembers everything from his universe and knows things aint right so he os trying to find answers plus he doesnt know about the thors corpse cause he he probly hasnt seen or heard about them but he does remember the his thor

Yeah, it was a typical Bendis book, starts strong with good ideas, then it just does nothing for many issues until he has to close the arc and rushes the conclusion.
