I always assumed Supergaint wasn't in Infinity War because the MCU's Nebula already borrows so heavily from her visually.

To be fair, Proxima Midnight also has a star based name, namely Proxima Centauri the closest star to our Solar System that isn't our own Sun, so they still could have had the Black Dwarf name tie in with her as well without the need for Supergiant. I think they renamed Black Dwarf to Cull Obsidian in the MCU mainly because it's a name that sounds pretty goofy compared to the others, whereas Cull Obsidian sounds a lot more badass and powerful and everything, and sounds a lot more fitting for the heavy of the team. I'd assume that's probably a reason as to why they didn't add Supergiant into the MCU team, cause that's also a pretty goofy sounding name but they couldn't come up with another one to fit her that sounded more epic and fit with the name scheme for the rest of the team. I also agree that it makes a lot of sense for Supergiant to have size alteration powers, if only based on her name alone, and agree that she probably was also excluded from the MCU was because of her similar mind powers to Ebony Maw, though I wouldn't doubt that had she been included they likely would have given her size alteration powers instead of her mental powers (they had Gi-Ant-Man (Giant-Man) by the point the Black Order was introduced, so they could have done size alteration powers for her had she been brought in).

I thi k the biggest reason that they changed black dwarf's name is because they probably thought it was in poor taste to introduce a character with dwarf in the name in the same movie where they introduce a character played by peter dinklage

She got a different outfit (Uniform) in the Marvel Future Fight game, they called it "Dark Obsidian Armour". It's black and dark blue with dark metallic limbs, with blue lighting accents. Instead of the white with black limbs of the standard look. I really like it :D

Hi Nando, have you thought about making a video or including a segment in one of these that explains marvel snap to people that don't play? I personally have no idea what the deal is with "cost" and "power" and what the aim of the game actually is. Obviously that doesn't take away from the lore aspect of these videos (videos I really enjoy by the way) but I feel like if people who don't play knew how to, it might draw more people to the game. As far as I remember, the Cull Obsidian is just Thanos' excuse for disguising his executions of his children by doing a wider cull.

I would have to dig out my issues of Infinity but wasn't her difference the fact that she kinda detested working for Thanos and while her failure was a bad thing she kinda welcomed death? That's a tough arc to put in a movie like Infinity War.

What if its revealed Supergiant was raising Thane during Infinity War and they show up to be enemies for the Guardians or Ravegers cause they want to kill Nebula or Gamora
