Definitely Tom regarding the argument last episode he had 3 absolute finishers in their argument that caught Shiv by surprise 1 when he said she shouldn’t have married him at all something she never saw coming 2. He countered her with she shouldn’t have children a gut punch that reminds her of what her mom said to her last season and something she secretly knows is true And finally 3 when he said he gave her endless approval. This was the final nail for me she never got the love she really wanted from her dad but Tom loved her as best he could and it wasnt enough for her yeah Tom came out on top this fight

She appealed to Logan for “Just not Tom” at one point re: going to jail.

No one ”won”. No one will win this game of succession. None of these Roy children will even deal with their deep down issues of what their father (and mother) put them through and that’s not in an way absolving them of their own horrible actions. So they are forever doomed to live miserable lives. On a different note, this show has one of the best writing, visuals, character development, and acting I’ve ever watched. All of these people on this show are just downright loathsome on different levels, but they still keep you feeling sorry for them. That’s talent.

Tom is a major tool but also the only somewhat likeable character in this show. Especially because of the way we see Shiv treat him. Speaking of winning 🥇, Matthew M should win 🥇 another Emmy award 🥇 and he deserved it in 2020 also.

I agree. This is bad for both of them. But I felt more for Tom during the argument. What a scene. I will miss this show so much when it’s gone.

Truth be told, people want more …much more of this Logan Roy world HBO should produce a show about the early life of Logan Roy: showing Logan in the years when he put Conners mom in a mental facility and when he married 2nd wife and when the kids were very young but there should be flash backs to Logan’s childhood and formidable years with his brother and whatever went down with Logan’s sister sort of like the God father part 2 flashbacks. Showing Logan’s uncle beating him, forming the emotional and psychological framework for Logan’s life and how he became the person we see in succession. There is still so much fans would like to know about Logan Roy and how he came to be. It would be a home run for WBD HBO if it is done correctly and casting the Young Logan Roy correctly.

So, HBO strikes again! Despite changing the video even more than before and it passing initial inspection @HBO has decided this video is very obviously a cruel infringement of copyright. I am going to keep the video up and wait for them to do what they always do which is deny the dispute and then have papa KZfaq come in and give me back my monetization. I am sadly not sure if I am going to continue post anymore HBO related content except for maybe the end of Succession because HBO's abuse of copyright is beyond annoying. I know they are going to be hurting from the whole dollar I might make off of this video XD Update: Daddy KZfaq had to come in and give another spanking to HBO/ WarnerMedia! KZfaq had them release the copyright claim because they are chads.

Tom one, Tom is going to move on and be with a woman who’s gonna appreciate him and he’s gonna be able to give her the love that he’s wanted to give somebody. She is going to be alone. She was gonna be miserable and shivers never going to be able to love somebody because she’s so clearly hates herself.

In a power couple like this one always has to step back, they will never be equals. Tom should have given up his ambition for Shiv, which is the only thing she ever expected of him. His true nature is shown when interacting with Greg - that is the kind of father he would be. She was going to provide for him (I donor think there was a prenupt), give him a kid, a good name, but no he could not give up on his ambition, and that destroyed their marriage.

I think Shiv does love him. She always asking her father to look out for Tom, like asking him to not send Tom to prison and he sends fucking Kendall, and she doesn't tell Tom that. Besides, Greg told Gerri about the cruises scandal and Tom thinks it was Shiv and never told her as well. They never talk basically, but she loves him.

Shiv will always win. Sometimes at her own peril but she will always come out on top. Alone but so be it. She only appears soft because of her hormones.

Tom should have ended it with her when she dropped that side sex deal on him on there wedding night, that’s where his wants had priority over his needs and he has now dragged out his own pain and misery being with a sociopathic, rich trust fund narcissist, daddy’s girl like shiv. But like Tom was saying shiv will be alright with her status, money and comfort in the long run. But Tom has ultimately lost here in the long run cause he appears to have lost his family with shiv along with the position it afforded him. I have been broken like Tom a few times it’s a gut wrenching, feeling.
