This is my ABSOLUTE favorite childhood star of all time. Have all of her albums. I'm so glad she spoke on this about the industry because it was very informative. Thank you, Mrs. Stacy Lattisaw Jackson for your contributions to music & my childhood memories ❤❤❤❤❤

Thank you for sharing your experiences, Mrs. Stacy Lattisaw Jackson. I am sorry about the mistreatment you endured being in the music industry, but I am pleased about the "peace of GOD that passes all understanding (Philippians 4:7)" that you gained through JESUS CHRIST, our LORD. You are a beautiful woman of GOD. 💜🙏🏻✝️

I often wondered what happened to Stacy Lattisaw over the years. I'm not big on sappy stories, but believe it or not, I owe this woman a huge 'thank you!' It was the late Spring of 1989 at a small house party on Long Island, when I heard her song 'Miracles,' play. At the time I was dating the woman I would marry later that year. There was something about hearing that song at that very moment in time that made me realize I was in love. After 35 years of being married to that same woman, this song- 'Miracles'- still comes to my mind as being the most important part of the most pivotal moment in my life. So as strange as it may sound, I owe Stacy Lattisaw thanks for making that moment happen and it's a moment I will never forget.

I remember being a camp counselor and the students and I were on a school bus when, “I Found Love On A Two Way Street” came on. The bus stopped and we all sang. I beautiful memory. You are such a level headed young lady. God bless you in Jesus name, Ms. Lattisaw. You are so level headed.

It stands for American Songwriters Composers Authors Publishers. It's where alot of folks go to hobknob. In the early 1960's Don Kirshner who worked closely with the Shirelles and later created The Monkees was at one of the "Dinners" and a Man tapped him on the shoulder and complimented him on his work in the Brill Building. He talked about how he was starting his own Record Label that celebrates 65 Years this year. It was Berry Gordy of Motown.

Her music is played every single day somewhere on the planet and she should be getting paid in royalties for life. The fact that she hadn't gotten royalties in 40 years speaks volumes about the dirtiness of that business.

Yes, Aaron Carter was in the same boat and his Manager Jayson did him dirty as well. As many of you know there's the Coogan Act named after Jackie Coogan the first successful child star whose Mother & Stepfather lived large because of him. When it was time to come into his trust fund there was nothing left. It was squandered. According to Showbusienss Law, 80% of a Child Star's earnings must go into trust but it's never enforced. Even Allison Arngrim (Ex Nellie Oleson Little House On The Prairie) acknowledged that it's never done.

She was a Shopaholic without ever realizing it. I wish that Canadian Finance Guru Gail Vaz Oxlade, Suze Orman, or even Victor Antonio could have helped her.
