I came from Singapore to the US in 2019 to pursue an MBA at Cornell Johnson in hope of chasing my 'American Dream'. I hope to share with you my honest thoughts on this dream chasing process in the past 2 years , why am I doing it, whether it is worth it, and my advise for future students coming to the US.

Originally it was to have a big house, great job, fur babies, and to be financially stable. Now…..it’s to live and be happy and try not to stress about meeting societal norms. I salute you for doing something that worked for the best for you even though it came as a surprise to friends and family!
