I live fifteen minutes from a wind farm of hundreds of turbines along mountain ridges and they make absolutely no noise that you can hear on the ground. None at all. We go hiking on trails that go right next to them and you can't hear them. That's not an opinion. It is my opinion, though, that turbines spinning peacefully in an open landscape under a bright blue sky looks a lot more attractive than dark brown, polluted skies.
