Hey Erin, I appreciated your sharing this video, as well as all your wonderful work on liberating the fascia. Liberating and life-changing! (I also enjoyed seeing you with your toque and scarf in the house, as I am currently sporting the same look lol)(in South Dakota) A couple suggestions for you--One, if you have a Vitamix, NutraBullet, etc you can easily make oat milk just by throwing in a bit of oats (or almond butter, Costco's Mixed Nut butter, walnuts, etc), a few dates, and some water. You can also add vanilla, cocoa, or whatever as you like. Blend it and put in a jar with a shaker ball. You can also strain it with a nut milk bag, but I'm used to just using as is. You'll want to shake before using but there are no gums or additives, just clean ingredients. Two, in addition to your fascia work I have also found much help in the podcast The Cure for Chronic Pain by Nichole Sachs, based on the work of Dr. John Sarno. Thanks again, blessings!

Wow! Thank you so much for your message and your suggestions. Funny enough, I made my first homemade nut milk two nights ago, and it was delicious! I used cashews, two dates, a pinch of sea salt, and a dash of vanilla. I used the nut bag but I didn’t need to. Also so funny, I am listening to a book that is currently talking about John Sarnos. I think I’m going to have to buy one of his books :-) thank you again so much! (And yes, in real life, I live in a knit hat and scarf here in Minnesota! I’m sure it’s similar in South Dakota!)

Thank you for your message! I feel like there are so so so many things to consider and learn! I knew my body was unhappy and changes needed to happen in. This was impetus of me stepping back in and taking important steps forward. These darn seed oils are everywhere! I love cooking but as a busy mom and business owner, it seems overwhelming to think about cooking everything by myself!

I suffered from migraines 2-3x per week for nearly 40 years (I'm 49), and had knee pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, and tendonitis in a few spots for the last several years. Switching to a modified keto diet (specifically focused on eliminating the aforementioned seed oils, wheat, and refined sugar) about 6 months ago eliminated the migraines entirely, practically overnight, and the other pains quickly reduced by about 80%. And my latest blood panel came back this month with, in my doctor's words, "Harvard numbers". I know you're focused on mostly plant-based, but hopefully my experience can help in some way. I use your fascia flow videos on rest days between workouts, and they've been real game changers for me, so thought I'd try to return the favour!

Seed oils have been shown to be alright as long as they are used correctly in unprocessed foods. Like sautéing and home made dressings. Gluten is also usually not the problem but more likely the ultra modified versions of grains and the pesticide they are putting on them. Have you ever watched the “Nutrition Made Simple” channel with Gil? Very good evidence based nutrition videos.

Thank you for this information! Intuitively I think I know all this, but my fast-paced Western life caused me to rely on the processed junk too much! I love Gil and will seek out that video. I’m planning to go to his nervous system tour when he’s here in Minneapolis!

Please consider that almost all chronic diseases involve a long history of inflammations. This is thé result of a non regulated autonomous nervous system.which is not able to get back to a baseline after a période of stress .It might involves then the immune system, the digestion cycle, and every tasks managed by thé autonomous nervous system. All this happens most of thé time after adverse childhood, accident, or trauma of any kind which are still stored in thé body. Taking care of tour reptilian nervous system is thé first thing to do (with somatic exercices for example), then, changing habits of worring, and eating. Hope it helps or other people .
