In the era of fast fashion i repeat my clothes with confidence and I'm so proud of it, besides i utilize the old clothes which I'm not going to wear anymore

To be honest I always felt temptation to buy it when I look at them, but subconsciously I don't do any purchases. It's like I don't feel to do that

im a teenager and about 2-3 weeks ago I downloaded urbanic. honestly the prices were pretty high but I really wanted to get a pair of jeans . I added it to my cart but just yesterday I went to Market w my mom and got the exact pairs for surprisingly low price. IK LOT OF YALL WILL SAY THAT THEY ARENT OF GOOD QUALITY but honestly I think that those clothes aren't gonna fit me after 1 or 2 years(as I'm still growing) . I used to compare myself with my mates who bought from zara, h&m but ig I made the right decision

Enough of calling them influencers just call them content creator! They are influencing all the wrong things possible and their followers are kids and youngsters who'd just go to any extent to support their idol.

There is a girl in KZfaq.. something vriddhi.. she's just 18 maybe I'm wrong.. she just done plastic surgery in her nose. I mean it's ok it's her choice. Bad thing is that she's influencing lots of young girls . Also she literally wrote in a comment that it's not themselves it's actually the people who make us bad about ourselves... She was insecure about nose, so just got surgery. Sad part is that all the young girls asking her about the cost and all that. It's so messed up.

Being from a decent family still I didn't get what I always wanted and my parents always taught me about their everyday struggle for money and daily resources and now that I am a grown up things has drastically worked for me as for study I have to do research I found out about it a long time back and it's increasing... I never got influenced by fast fashion , though I watched the haul... I literally wear the same hoodie and jeans 3 days in a week in winters.. and most of my friends do the same in university.... While I see other girls coming in a new set everyday and never wearing the same dress twice in a two week span.... It took me years of not being influenced by influencers and fashion company. With Shein, I was looking for a dress to wear to a friend’s wedding. And every time I googled, only Shein’s advertisements would show up on my search. It was so annoying. I only have one Shein dress and that was because I thrifted the dress and didn’t see the tag when I purchased it. 😢😢

I don't get why repeating clothes sometimes feel like illegal.... I buy those clothes ,they are my fav ,spent my parents hard earned money and i have washing machine... One of my relative in wedding pointed out that it isn't that dress she wore in that wedding....wtff...

I'm from Myntra I'm senior executive and I can understand the pressure and i also know the dark side of this online industry after working there i literally hate ordering online bcs i know the pressure and effort those who start from scratch or work on a very low post they don't even get proper time to have their lunch

Thank God! I quit this fast fashion trend early onwards. I never understood this trend anyways. I like shopping from good Indian brands that are homegrown and good for Indian body type as well. I’m so glad that I found Indian brands that not only are comfortable, but also stylish and good quality material. Which is why always promote and support local brands. Instead of these mega international fast fashion brands.

This was a great informative video for so many young followers who only follow and support their fav influencers without thinking what’s right and wrong. I also would like to point out why Indian influencers do not promote thrifts or vintage clothings. I know India has very less thrift shops but if we all were encourage to thrift then may be there will be such business opening up. Secondly these influencers will never set good examples for young audiences regarding the world problems and pollution it cost especially the contribution of the fast fashion industry.

When I was in hotel Industry, I used to work for 12 hours to 18 hours with the salary of 8000/- and I am not talking about small companies, I am talking about well known 5 star hotels.

I get confused picking up my clothes if I have more than 10 pieces 😁 My entire closet fits in 2 racks of my wardrobe ( that includes bags and accessories as well) But am happy with less. I had shopped once from shein but never got fascinated by such hauls.

I've bought 4-5 clothes from Urbanic and 5-6 suit sets from Myntra last year. One dress from Urbanic which I've bought, I've worn it a million times by now. It's my go-to, be it going to buy groceries, gym, whatever... I hop in that dress and good to go. Paisa vasool. And other clothes also I've repeated so many times. I keep wearing them and also, I wash and keep them back properly which increases their shelf life. So I don't need to buy again and again...

They are increasing the temptation of people. Nowadays everyone (including me) wants to buy as much stuff as possible. Whenever we see such videos, we think we want this and that and even when we don't need that.

Influencers make haul vids so that the audience can know as to which app or brand or site is reliable for good quality clothes at best prices. Most awaited video, like this is so so honest.. people are getting so mad to purchase so many clothes in a year. Im working in school & we need to wear only dress with dupatta. I have total 6 dress which I repeat & wear every alternate day . I don't feel any shame in repeating my clothes.

all these shein hauls were a huge trend back then and these videos are very old. we have to realise that these influencers were not aware of the working conditions in china like most of us. Thank God it's banned now, personally I've been tempted a lot because of these hauls but some people also provide accurate information about the quality of the fabric, what to buy & what not to buy. Komal Pandey talks about thrifting, promotes more designers than zara, SuperStyle Tips has limited her hauls and so has Quirky miss who even donates her clothes to poor. So hauls are not necessarily a bad idea if you're making videos responsibly and normalising repeating outfits / donating / promoting thrift stores. At the end of the day we're all adults who can use our own brains to decide what to spend our money on.

I watch you videos sometimes and your bring really good contents but this video is much need awareness I am not a fashion person neither I shop much but these fashion videos comes in my suggestion every now and then which really compelled me to think about the dark side of it waste generation and manufacturing exploration, environmental degradation etc. I believe it's time to become global responsible citizens to save sustainability.

Although i do agree that influencers need to be responsible it is a fact that people want to watch such hauls and thus creating an income source for the influencers. As for the 'remind your audience once in a while' part, audiences on the internet are very picky. If they do say statements like "You don't need to do such huge hauls i am doing it because it is a part of my job" people will start critisizing them for uselessly buying stuff. No matter what explanation the influencer provides, he will be heavily critisized. The only solution to this is that we as viewers show the maturity and understanding that such hauls are not something we can afford so frequently. Being said that, there exist audiences who can afford it and it is their own business if they buy it or not. All in all, just know your situation and decide if you want to enjoy the video and take notes for your future shopping or just mindlessly follow them

Yeah I was really influenced by this type of hauls, but I don't order a huge amount of clothes just like one or two and OMG!!! many of the clothes are of polyester and was not even one percent comfortable to wear. So now I have stopped buying clothes online.

See it's upto them what they buy or not, and it's upto us ki haam kitne influence honge inse, aur aisa bhi nhiye ki u see and u get influenced all the time, because I've experienced this, I've been seeing the channel since long(any fashion related) but I stay in simple t shirts and jeans all the time being a girl even if I'm capable to buy in the way they do or maybe more than that. It's just how our upbringing is done (the people u stay with either are educated or not) and totally depends on our thoughts

I recently watched a video on fast fashion n it's impact on environment and even on those workers who are working non stop in making these fast fashion garnents that too on a very low wage .. I appreciate ur efforts at least there is some one sensible out there who is thinking out there abt all these issues and making really commendabke content rather than jst making cliche makeup or food videos videos on you tube fr the sake of it❤
