It's on Saturday Night Live's page via NBC. The part where he went into feminine hygiene was replaced by a graphic by one of the writers of _SNL_ stating that it was a frank and lively monologue, and it cost everyone their jobs. He actually parodied the incident on _Martin_ in the cold open of an episode where he could not get work, as he even try to find work at NBC, joking "it's like I've been banned." followed by "they can kiss my ass."

Some of that monologue was a little too _real_ for that almost white primetime audience. Had he did it on _Def Comedy Jam_ it would've been a whole different story. They almost censored Richard Pryor when he hosted _SNL_ in its first season. He caused the network to have a seven second delay. Long live Marty Mar!!!!

David Richardson What did Richard Pryor do?
@DavidRichardson95
@DavidRichardson95 4 жыл бұрын
@@Wowitzkay He accidentally blurted out "fuck" or "shit", during his monologue (co-written with Paul Mooney) and similar to his guest hosting stint on the season 4 finale of _Soul Train_ (the only time _ST_ had a guest host while still in the DC years), executives were nervous about his style of comedy. He also pulled a similar stunt when he was a recurring guest star (and writer) on _The Flip Wilson Show_ and Flip was trying to tell Richard to tone it down for network television, Richard pulled out his man piece and said "everyone can suck my dick." 💀💀💀💀💀
