If Nintendo ever decided to touch this game with updated content, I'm kind of hoping the Miis have some kind of cool customization feature like Miitopia's. I got way too used to how fabulous mine look now 😂 Also I love Charles' choice of background music, and those quick little horror twists he does so well 👍

The miis will always, always have a special place in my heart, I been a fan of them since I got my very first wii, but these avatars do look quite refreshing if I do say so myself, but if there is one thing I should say is don't screw with Matt. Great animation, Charles.

The miis will also hold a special place in my heart I never knew them until Christmas when I got a 2DS along with Mario kart 7 but guess C was my favorite mii the reason why is cuz I never knew how to make a me until I was nine but guest C is also going to hold the special place in my heart he is an old friend of mine

If anyone recognized the Miis, the first one is the default one, the second one is Matt, and the third one is probably the Default Swordfighter.

The default male mii or the guest C mii is also the default Brawler.

@@edmartinez925IIRC, the difference between the two is that Guest C has a dark brown hair by default while Brawler has it black. And seeing the choice of Miis, I can imagine Gunner/the Default Female Mii having a chat with the promotional Sportsmate (aka the frontmost one with pink hair seen in the art).

The main reason the new miis bug me so much is that they suffer from same face syndrome. At a glance they look alright but looking at them as a collective, they just look the same. With Miis, every one felt so unique and there is so many differences to them other than clothing, eye wrinkles and hairstyle. Miis felt so unique with so much care put into them while the new avatars feel so corporate and without any personality

Amazing animation! Also, its shown that Miis are still in the game but they have the bodies of these “sportmates” and the end of this is my theory on how those Miis were originally sportmates, but they lost to miis so they became miis.

2:55 Not only the Miis are in most Nintendo games, but Mii is also are in selected third party titles for the Wii such as Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, Family Feud, Deal or No Deal, Rock Band and even in Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing (Wii version only) on selected third party titles on the Wii.

I still think it's a li'l crazy how much mii craze still holds hard for some people. But then, I was personally never that big a fan of 'em in the first place, not really a fan of the style. Maybe if the level of Miitopia customization was how good their *base* customization was I'd be more into it, but eh. Good for people who like 'em that they're still an option at least. More options are almost always a good thing.

Mii's are in Nintendo Switch Sports. You can see it when Takahashi and Koizumi are playing a match in Nintendo Switch Sports in the Nintendo Direct. They are playing with Mii's.

Unpopular opinion I actually like the new avatars, they have features similar to animal crossing humans (round head, triangle nose, big eyes) and the Japanese website reveals that you can have an animal avatar, I feel like they’ve designed the new avatars with other IP in mind (Animal Crossing)
