You and I are going to drink a lot of coffee together. Like, borderline dangerous amounts of coffee.
So, first things first. Pour yourself a mug and I’ll introduce myself real quick.
My name’s Jordan - but everyone calls me “J” - and I’m a 27th degree black belt in chugging coffee.
I’m also strength & nutrition coach, I hold several powerlifting world records, and I’ve been fortunate enough to have my writing featured in a variety of outlets like CNN, the Huffington Post, and Schwarzenegger.com.
But listen.
This channel isn’t for fame, publicity, cash, props, fist bumps, likes, pings, pows or whatever else there is.
It’s a place where you and I can chat.
I’ll never sugar coat, lie, or beat around the bush. I’ll tell you everything exactly as I see it. Some stuff you might like. Others you might not.
And that’s totally cool.
Either way, my goal here is to create a discussion. A place where you and I can get together, exchange ideas, and motivate each other to be better every day.
Like I said, we’re gonna drink a lot of coffee together - borderline dangerous amounts - but I’m excited. Because there aren’t too many online communities in which the sole purpose is to inspire and motivate one another.
And that’s exactly what you and I are going to do here.

I've really appreciated your videos. I'm a truck driver who spends nearly 11 hours a day sitting behind the wheel of a truck, and I've managed to lose 15 lbs by being consistent with taking my calories and giving myself grace to have some bad days on my journey. Like today, I'm feeling a lot of emotion from my grandfather passing away a few days ago. I allowed myself to go over my calories by a small bag of cheetos and a Pepsi today, knowing I'll be right back on track tomorrow. Thanks again for the motivation!

Literally watching this as I workout for one of the first times in MONTHS. I went from a 5-6x a week workout plan to maybe one workout every 3 weeks. Such a nice reminder that showing up and doing something, even if it’s not where you once were, is important and valuable.

I work out, but then spend 2 or 3 days sore, so I wait, and often that rest period throws me off track and I become sedentary. This inspires me to keep going and to make it a priority

As a mom of three boys, 6yo and under, and a night shift worker, with a rotator cuff injury, who bounced back after the first two babies but hasn't from the third this was the motivation I needed thanks for the always awesome content!!!

As a serial fitness routine starter and quitter, this was very relevant and the kick in the pants I needed to get going and keep going! I’ve been working to overcome the “if I can’t be perfect, why even try” mindset in fitness and nutrition. Your videos and instagram account have been super helpful with that. Thanks Jordan!

The visual with the eye drops and wine glass was so helpful! I definitely struggle with the feeling that “I don’t notice any progress so it must not be working” mentality but the visual was so helpful and I will keep thinking about that as I work for consistency in nutrition and working out!

I signed up for a workout app and also took a walk today! I have also been eating a salad 2-3x a week for my work lunch. I have already lost a little weight just from that. Now I have to cook more healthy meals and be more consistent on my workouts.

Thank you! I really needed to hear this. I want to lose 3 stone. This year I've lost 10lbs. I think that's good. But when I tell people I see the "Is that all?" face. But I used to binge and then starve myself. Or binge when my weight went up. This year with your help I have overeaten on holiday, when Ill or upset. But the next day I've got back on track. So I feel like I've made a HUGE change. Thank you, you've changed my life. ❤

Your breakdown of the “why” and brutal honesty I find really motivating. Also the comments on this video give me confidence that I’m not alone in my battle to be healthy consistently! Working on giving myself grace when things get hectic and I fall off the healthy lifestyle, the wine glass visual was great in reminding that a few “bad” days is ok if it’s limited to days.
