Great video! I'm still tempted to learn about trading, I know people say 80-90% of people aren't successful and lose money, but a 10-20% success rate is not that bad. Something like 90% of people surely fail at a lot of things - weight loss, quitting smoking, learning an instrument, becoming self employed... We don't tell people never to start a business because a lot of them fail. Trading probably attracts a lot of get rich quick without doing much hard work type of people as there's no barrier to entry, no interview process etc. Then again I may be horribly wrong but I wouldn't bet the house on trades unless it was in the hands of a man I met here on KZfaq, Mr Nicholas. who help me in the trading with his winning streak strategies. I’ve been looking to leave them. I just liked their platform at the time because I thought they were the only ones with fee free trading. I was 18 at the time, literally two days after my birthday. I’m 19 now and will be 20 in Oct this year lol. Does Fidelity credit your account while your money is transferring? If so I’ll literally move there right now. RH’s customer service is super shitty. I’m still waiting to hear back about RH gold that they charged me for after I’ve canceled it after the three month trial. It’s going on maybe three or more weeks, ridiculous.
@ThinkMoneyBenny3 жыл бұрын
fidelity does not credit you while you transfer. You will have to wait for the 1-2 week process to complete. You can however, insert new money into your Fidelity account and invest/trade with that in the mean time. That is what I did.

Great video, yes you are right about those companies being less reliable than vanguard or fidelity. However something that I would like to add, is that the reason they were hacked is because those people did not enable 2 factor authentication. It is very important to enable even if you are with Vanguard or Fidelity.
@ThinkMoneyBenny3 жыл бұрын
in the article, the clients who were hacked said they did indeed have 2 factor activated. I don’t know what to believe but one thing is clear. Robinhood is very Sus

TD Ameritrade failed it's customers in the meme stock war. They are still forcing customers to phone in covered call option sell orders on meme stocks. Not even naked calls, but covered calls, sometimes waiting hours on the phone. Fidelity is not.

Are Borrowing Margin good to have in Fidelity? Please tell me why.

@@ThinkMoneyBenny Sorry that is what I mean. What are some disadvantage to have margin trade?
@ThinkMoneyBenny3 жыл бұрын
there aren’t any disadvantages. Just make sure you don’t go over your cash amount to trade, so you don’t borrow. When you trade in “margin” you’re more flexible to trade, with buying power & don’t have to worry about getting free ride, and good faith violations
