For someone who's had Halo in their life forever this is truly a disappointment.

Stopped playing myself last week. The desync and bullet registration issues make it unplayable. Two bursts into beatdowns and no death, beatdowns making a sound and no damage done, backsmacks registering as normal hits, dieing when I'm around a corner, and to top it all off; winning a game and getting a miniscule sliver towards your rank but losing against 2 onyx's and 2 high diamonds while I have a plat 1 and 2 mid diamond teammates and go 25-13, but still lose 1/5 of my rank bar... Fuck that, I'm done

I just think the irony in the game being called "Infinite" while having an incredibly finite amount of content is hilarious.

To me the content isn’t even the biggest problem. I’d love to play the game if they’d just fix their servers.

I honestly think that the ppl at the top of 343 and Microsoft believed they could release this amount of content every 4 months because they made it a live service game and didn’t do any homework on what a live service game is. They truly have no idea and I do not believe in 343 at all. They fail too much. All of their communication is speculation and no substance

I love infinite. I think ranked matches are some of the best fps games I've ever played. I don't care about new modes and content....ALL I WANT IS NEW MAPS FOR RANKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One map is ridiculous for the update. They should've added at least 4 more maps to ranked.

I was seriously grinding halo at first but now i kind of dread playing it. I've recently had the most fun running custom games with large groups playing different quick play modes or big team.

I still play daily, 2-10 games or so, time allowing. I still have fun grinding some ranked… However, wait times between matches are getting longer and longer. Definitely feeling the effects of “Halo is ded” hah. I’m hopeful after this so called death month we’ll see a comeback. Also hopeful once they clear up all their tech debt that things will start getting churned out at a brisk pace. Time will tell…

I personally believe that the darkest times have ended. For me march was definitely the time when I played less halo. At least in April we will get more info on what is exactly going to be added with season 2 and possibly get a roadmap. I'll try hard to erase this whole season out of my memory and consider season 2 the real launch of Halo infinite.

I hope they actually figure out why we love Halo and get their gears turning and go against these dumb bad management. I am gonna start playing other games which keep my time. Cold War has kept me grinding for camos and I'm happy to be part of these communities. I am a massively loyal Halo fan so I didn’t think this would happen to me, but I have slowly moved to Apex. Haven’t played in over a week and I used to play every day. It has just gotten stale. They took too long to update. I’ve already played the campaign and am onyx in ranked so what is there to play for now

What needs to start happening is people need to start directing their anger and frustration at Microsoft. At the end of the day Microsoft is the one who is ultimately responsible for everything that goes on in 343 and wether they succeed or not. Start making KZfaq content putting Microsoft on blast for allowing this shit to happen in the first place. At the end of the day Microsoft has all the power and money to do whatever needs to be done to make Halo successful. I mean they did just spend billions of dollars in a record setting acquisition. Your telling me they can't spare some cash to give 343 everything they need to succeed? If that means cleaning house and replacing management with people who can get the job done, then so be it. 343 has proven their worth for 10 god damn years and this is where we're at. The put out 2 mediocre games in 4yrs and 1 barely playable game in 6yrs. Something has got to fuckin change and Microsoft is the one payin the bills and writing the checks.

No the game is basically done! Forge might bring it back up for a little while but it will remain on life support for the rest of this generation.

I am really upset that I spent money on this game. If stuff was fixed back in late feb early March I would have came back. As of now, I have traveled to other games and don’t want to spend my time sharping my skills for all the bugs and shitty job of fixing the problems of this game. Content is not going to fix the reasons why I left. I would play halo all day with 2 modes and 5 maps if the mechanics was on point.

I think people will want to come back and grind the season 2 battle pass, hopefully there is a decent mid season update when every one finishes

Not gonna lie at this rate someone completely new should take over the realms! 343i just isn't cut out to deliver on any game they've produced. There's been bits here and there I've enjoyed (Don't get me wrong) but this is wild frustrating as a die hard halo fan.

I think a year from now, there will be alot of Halo infinite revisting a year later videos. And i hope those videos will say "343 pulled through. Biggest launch ever then followed up by the longest drought ever BUT Halo is now in a place where it should be and 343 pushing out content on a regular basis." But since we are dealing with 343.. you can not predict how it will go. Only hope for average and prepare to be disappointed...

new maps and ranked playlists with better servers/desync issues would be enough to make the core of the game infinitely better (no pun intended). Co-Op campaign on split screen would also be huge. My brother hasn't played the game yet since he won't play alone and can't play with me. Super annoying

Halo shall prevail if 343 isn’t capable then someone will have to take over there are many studios out there in Microsoft that I believe they can manage Halo I don’t know tho if any of them would be willing to take on the task but a studio I can see who can nail Halo is ID software. I know they are known for doom and quake but I truly believe they can nail Halo too.

Hey GameLeap idk if you’ll see this but I honesty stopped playing halo because of the lack of content halo has given us but I’ll always support you and the content you put out cause you were the first person I started watching when all this started and seeing you put in the effort you have for this channel is amazing. 2 maps for next season's release. TWO. This game needs a soft reboot like final fantasy 14, because the technical debt goes so far back that they can't even add a game mode to the UI.

Short answer. No. With the aggressive monetization, the lack of customization without spending real world dollars, and how the xp system artificially time gates you through challenges. It's like Grand Tourismo 7 and Anthem had a cursed child. The suits aren't going to let the devs give the content people paid for back in Nov without a premium attached. If season 2 or 3 battlepass has a price tag attached I'm fully walking away and labeling Halo Infinite a corporate cash grab.

It needs that 6 month + of consistent updates. Otherwise there will be no come back.

I haven’t played since the first week of tactical ops. April could potentially be the death of this game, I hope not but I recently have been getting back into rainbow 6.

Was playing Halo every night until February when it all started feeling really stale. Usually when a new match starts and you see what map you are forced to play on there is a moment of "Oh cool, I love this map" or "oh man, not this stupid map again." Well ALL the maps started getting that negative reaction. Lack of new maps and no forge until God knows when... I'm out. And once I'm out it's hard to get me back in again. New girlfriend makes you forget all about old girlfriend. Have you met my new girlfriend? Her name is Elden Ring.

It's a wonder that it has survived this long to begin with. The optimization of the game was/is so horrible that even though my friends are almost all die hard halo fans and owns every single game, movie and figures and so on regarding the franchise, none of them got past the first week of Infinite. It's not the content starvation that is killing the game, it's simple that it failed on a basic level to have an actual audience to begin with...

I think I understand why players are frustrated. I've played halo since CE, but never really delved into the multilayer only focused on the campaign. Didn't know understand the complaints about the progression system and all that until now maybe. Halo Infinite has been fun for me as long as others are playing, I can play more matches more often and quickly

i’m gunna call it Halo Infinite wont have the same amount of content as Halo 3 (at launch) until end on 2023 this next year and a half will be a sad game of catch up for this half baked game

I want to come back... but very little content becomes even more apparent when you're still dealing with desync and MnK still having a ceiling. It's only fun sometimes. A lot of the times I'm trying to figure out how to get it to feel right, swear the others must be cheating and it's actually desync or some other crap like that. It's still a fun game at it's core, but I'll judge the rest once it's actually out there to try.

Stopped playing this overhyped disaster of a "game" three months back and haven't come back since then. Glad to know alternatives to this "game" are incredibly plentiful and easily available!

Takes more time to find a match now then it does to play one in solo/duo. Maybe if the game actually worked.. more people would play. Only people left are masochist

At this point I'll be concerned if they're focusing on making content. If it takes this long to make content, then it means the engine/organization doesn't support content creation, and it needs a substantial rework to support fast content delivery. If their next patch isnt a "we reworked all of halo, and the new engine is better for content delivery" then I'm gonna assume the game is dead cause releasing meager content twice a year will not be sustainable long-term

Got to give some honest feedback here; You're going to think that your view count and sub count is dropping because people aren't interested in Halo. But its because your last 15 videos have been negative news drama about 343. I know you are just trying to get traction on the negativity, but you haven't done a guide in 15 videos. I would still be watching them if you were, and if I was still watching them id be more likely to hop back into Infinite and check out the suggestion; it creates a self fulfilling prophecy. I understand you need to report on news, no matter if its negative or positive. But every time I see this channel upload I roll my eyes now. I used to love the guides you put out. There are plenty of other channels still making content on the tech and skill plays in the game and I don't understand why this channel has pivoted so heavily into doomposting. Just wanted to keep it real because this channel has made some great stuff and it goes without saying that channels like this get communities engaged and turn casual fans into hardcore fans.

I'm not sure where you are getting the idea that campaign is going to be console only, but if that was true it'd be really bad in my opinion.

Rip halo. “April will be the month people will leave”. Down to sub 2k players on steam. Yikes. It came out of the gate so strong but I don’t see Halo surviving this.

The lack of forge and custom game browsing at release is the biggest failure of Infinite. If 343 wasn't going to create content, the least they could do is allow us to make the content for them. You had millions upon millions of players who have never played Halo before. If there was forge, you'd have a huge group of creative people who would be making maps endlessly. If there was custom game browsing, this would be the biggest Halo yet. I fell in love with Halo because of custom games.

What do you mean? I've been one tricking** Halo Infinite this whole time. I honestly can't see how people are finding the game hollow. You don't have to play as intended at all. I love doing strange things like stacking wasps, stacking fusion coils, making a fusion coil castle, setting up a line of grenades and making remote detonation dominos. Just be creative

I think Halo is just getting started, but I think 343 missed it. You never have anymore hype, excitement or player base than you do within the 2 month launch window. By the end of that window you need to have new content ready to launch, fix problems in the game and whatever you need to do keep the player base happy and interested. Cause once they see lack of content and unresolved problems and they get the sense that the studio company don't care... they leave and more than likely won't be coming back, atleast not easily as it was for the release.

No Halo infinite lost core fans fans that have been there since CE. There's never been a Halo game that hasn't launched with the core intact. This game may as well just be a demo in its current state. We couldn't give less of a crap about your damn battle pass make maps make forge make firefight put the stuff in that we actually enjoy we don't care about the Battle pass.

Halo Infinite has been fucked over. They launched F2P to get a "broad audience" and didn't update it. Now the F2P audience has left and the hardcore fanbase that's "threatening 343" is stuck with a shitty F2P game we would've paid full price for. Can't even find EU games anymore, all my games are 200 ping US ones.

Once forge comes out I could see a nice niche halo community thriving... even though everyone hates 343 people love halo so as long as forge comes out the game won’t “Die” but it’ll never be a big game. It’s just never going to get the attention it deserves from the devs so it will never be a good live service... 343 cannot PROVIDE live service content
