Halo is in this weird area where it’s not “fun” enough to be my casual shooter of choice and it’s not “serious” enough to be my rank grind game. If I want to just chill with a casual shooter, I’m going to play Warzone or BF. Those games have wayyy more content and things to just screw around doing. And if I want to grind rank, I’m going to play Valorant because that’s a game with an actually solid server setup, great anti cheat, and a balance team that knows what they’re doing. I love halo and I want it to be a game that I sink hours into… but I can’t justify wasting my gaming time on it when there’s plenty of other, objectively better, games that are competing. I stand by my word , they need to fix the desync issue and some minor changes to the overall health of the game if not nothing will change . I enjoy the game but a lot is missing and dealing with cheaters .

I stopped playing this since my elden ring play through sad to see nothing has changed, had fun when I came back to it but it got old pretty fast.

The 6 month wait for Halo Infinite's Forge isn't a technological limitation, it's a deliberate design limitation because the store, armor cores, weapon skins, and cat ears were higher on the priority list.

Anybody thinks that the granades are too weak ? Literally you can walk on top of them exploding without dying ...at least make them stronger in close spaces ...also in fiesta at least it would be fun to have random type of granades instead of the same basic one

Desync is the single greatest factor keeping me away from this game. There is no "good core gameplay" as long as this problem persists.

Battle rifle or commando start I prefer it to having to constantly find them around the map

It is not "really clean" imo. The spawning is god awful. i.e. In 4v4 flag, we killed 3 guys defending the flag and sure enough, they all spawned near and quickly killed us as we were all weak from their previous fire. Not to mention the worst radar in Halo PvP history which is interesting considering that the radar in the campaign is freaking great. Makes no sense. Not to mention the cosmetic and progression issues or the OP Magnum. So much potential yet so much disarray

honistly the worst thing about halo is that in 90% of my ranked matches no one fckn communicates. they not even ping or react to callouts(dia1). i hate it. its the only game i know where people dont want to win in ranked..... if this is not getting better imma stop playing cause nothing is more frustrating than to be the only one in your lobby who tries to sweat a ranked round when the others are such arrogant they think they dont need information or tho shere it

i just wish they stayed true to what they said when updating mcc "mcc is our playtest/playground" its brought mcc to standards, the ui is nice, having ar/br/smg starts as a choice. its unranked progression system to show how much time you have spent playing. I thought career was a nice touch, seeing K.d time played ext... along with seeing all the medals u have earned throughout every game. idrc about customization in halo anymore since mcc u got everything right off the bat in terms of "og armor" like recon, but at least give us a few free skins for our spartan or gun. if they decided to expand armor coatings id want the different color selections like you could do in 3/reach, main paint, 2nd paint, and the emblem on you spartan was always a nice touch even if it didnt mean anything.

I’ve read the update post on all the stuff they plan on attacking. I just hope they can deliver. Ranked needs a better progression system. I love halo 4v4 ranked but crashing, people leaving, cheating, player collision, spawning issues, no level system…and this isn’t even my full list. It really boggles my mind at the development team as to why anyone in their right mind would release shit like this before it’s done.

I'll check out season two for the maps and modes but I doubt I'll stay playing it for long, if the game had a progression system outside of just the battlepass and ranked like previous titles ideally something like Halo 3 and Reach's system I'd probably put more time into it.

Two new maps and three new game modes won’t cut it! So in quick play you might get the one new map every eight games. So same old same old.

It needs more events and some reason to play after you complete the battle pass.. And not make you do challenges if you already did the battle pass for events.. Also some new maps, ability to choose game modes. Some way to ADD FRIENDS to people you played with

I’m thinking about just waiting a year, eg. S4, and just come back to the game when it is complete. The Battle Passes never expire, so there isn’t much downside to waiting and just playing other games.

PC optimization. Fix the high resolution texture pack from crashing top tier PC builds, red reticle, loss of aim assist (out of game mkb/controller toggle), daily challenge rewards (splitgate style), do not share MMR with casual and ranked play, actually just remove CSR and only use MMR for ranked only, 2 ranked maps, and for gosh sakes add a game mode like Takedown!!! As for cosmetics... just let me have ownership, make me proud to CUSTOMIZE my spartan. So limited to the cookie cutter specs. In COD you get almost 100 different camos for completing different challenges. Easy. Honestly, if your league is playing on PCs then the game shod be built and optimized for PC. Period. Close the skill gap for MKB vs controller. Nothing needs to happen to controller, but maybe a small aim assist for short engagements for mkb could help close the gap. Lastly, I want to play the game, but right now I'm only playing because there is no other option......

Not really my opinion but facts looking back in time and also going off of experience....Why were games such as Halo 2...Halo 3... Halo Reach... Battlefield 2, 3, and 4 so popular and played by so many for so long? Because they had a proper AND good progression/ranking system!! Not to mention usually accompanied with stats! Content is good but most people want to achieve a little bit of prestige within a game such as a hard to get skin or piece of armor...hard to get coating color, or nameplate/emblem. That is where you get people attracted to play and then continue to play a game. Also a hugely important aspect is making the game social friendly in as many ways as you can. Like firefight or in Destiny's case you have dungeons and raids. I mean Halo needs to figure it out there is so much they can work with!!

Just stabilize the game and give us unlimited Grappleshot in custom games and I'll be happy.

Logged on after a month of not playing. The store literally had old content, with half being skins I already own. Was like, meh... Then headed over to ranked, because if they can't get ranked right it's over. Played 1 game so laggy I had enemies teleporting around, like we were all playing on Dial up. Shook my head and turned off my console. The state of the game is piss poor. Forget cheaters ruining games. If I can't even see where the enemy is, because they Rubberband around corners and shots don't register on them, then why play? We've begged for dedicated servers for 20 years at this point. The franchise is dead in my mind. The gameplay can't be saved. Sad, since I've played since the original Halo. But with all this half ass bullshit, I'm done. I have no reason to play a free for all on a larger map, if they can't even get servers sorted. It's dead and nothing will fix this.

If season 2 isn't longer than 3 months, then I'm fine with the additions. I finished S1 battle pass back in December, hit Onyx twice, and have completed all of the weekly challenges, so mostly, I've been enjoying the game and gameplay, but have been STARVING for some sort of progression. Even just having a S2 battle pass would breath new life into the game and having an additional map to master, new customization, new game types and the fixes that they recently addressed shows that they're trying to steer this in the right direction. Looking forward to season 2.

This game should be a 60 dollar game at the least. Instead they released it with game pass. They need to make money and the stuff you can pay to unlock doesn’t effect the gameplay so I’m fine with their format. I think they should add an 8 v 8 on some of the maps tho. They are to big for 4 v 4. I forget the name of the map but is the one that has sand in it.

Been passively listening to yours and others commentary on the game. The issue, for the masses, isn’t cheating, monetization, or “de sync”. It’s really simple and honestly frustrating that you’re not addressing it. The map offering is a joke and there’s a single ranked playlist. Halo 3 launched with a ton of solid maps. In this game, it’s super boring as you have no control on the ranked game mode you’re playing across 4 maps. Remaster the pit, guardian, and lockout, while offering multiple ranked playlists to choose from and Halo would be in a much better place. They can obviously continue to create new maps, but this would at least buy them time and provide excellent game play.

Halo infinite is about 20% of what Halo 3 was replayability wise.

My favorite thing is they have micro transactions in the game to keep bringing money for more content... But they keep releasing games with tons of missing content and they trickle what should have already been there to us.. Micro transactions have done what everyone predicted would happen. Devs get crumbs while the big wigs just collect that cash. We lose in the long run so stop buying from shady companies like this.. it's a literal waste of money, they'll never give us what we want or what should be there.

Let’s say this rumoured halo battle royal is true. How the heck does 343i plan on supporting it when they can’t maintain the game in its current form. Yes season 2 has 2x new maps, and over 100 cosmetic items to sell us. But it launches with zero fixes to the game. Desync will still be there, there’s no local server searching/ options, no anti cheat and no roadmap past what has been delayed already….

Why are they straight up telling us they know collision is wanted back by the majority of players but they want to keep it the way they want? Do players not matter anymore? Nobody wants the tank gun removed their but the community manager ignores hundreds of comments and comments on the one person that agrees with 343. when halo dropped i quit apex. grinded halo for a couple months. made onyx to easily. jus felt like no content. no maps. n halo lost me. Haven't touched it or watched it in a couple months. idk if anything they drop will be enough to bring me back sadly. these halos will never compare to h2 n h3.

Matchmaking is garbage, I really hope they fix it soon. Other than that, I really enjoy the game still after about 200 hours so far.

There will definitely be a huge increase in numbers when season two drops. However, the game will definitely fall back into the state it currently is in after a week or so.
