I was thinking of buying one of these because I suffer from Trigeminal neuralgia and using an electric toothbrush is painful but a manuel toothbrush doesn't get my teeth clean. However I have watched a few videos now on them and none of them said they were any good, and they seem to have a lot of vibration so I definitely could not use one, so thankyou.

Hey! Can you share your views regarding sensodyne repair and protect (novamin) toothpaste, does it really strength your enamel or just a gimmick.

sensodyne repair - the active ingredient is stannous fluoride which helps with remineralization/slows down plaque formation. I don't see any special ingredients that actually "strengthen the enamel" novamin - I've not tried this myself but just looking at the ingredients, it does contain an ingredient that is similar to what our enamel is composed of, so I could see this actually helping to strengthen enamel.

Last time I used Risewell, they were using micro sized particles which are ineffective as far as hydroxyapatite goes.

@@kittysoldiertt I started with boka. it's alright, although in terms of effectiveness i think there is better out there. I've really enjoyed Dr. Jen's lately. more effective, higher quality ingredients.

You have to try it with the nylon brush head! The silicon head is older

Do you think this might be a good option for someone with autism who struggles with proper brushing?

No I really don’t see this being easier. Putting that whole thing in your mouth *properly* can be just as much of a challenge. You kind of have to wriggle your teeth into position and keep moving it around by feel. Sometimes the rubber bristles kind of fold over and completely miss brushing the teeth (do I dare even call it brushing?) I think at the end of the day you could still do a better job with an electric toothbrush or even manual. Maybe break up the brushing into sessions like morning do too teeth and evening do bottom teeth so it’s not as long..

even if it worked, it looks SO uncomfortable to use!! I hate getting dental molds made of my teeth and having all that stuff in my mouth. This thing reminds me of that. It looks like a whole lot MORE of an inconvenience than a regular brush! And I guess when they compared it to a regular toothbrush, they forgot to mention that their cat was the one using it!!

I don’t think I kept it in the edit but when I tried putting it in my mouth for the very first time I actually did gag haha and I don’t have a super sensitive gag reflex.

😒Gah these products are not good. Thanks for testing and confirming exactly what I found when I tried this out myself. Concept is good, execution is poor.
