Never perform an exercise that elicits or intensifies symptoms. If an exercise elicits or intensifies symptoms, stop immediately and use a viable substitute.
Exercise through a symptom free range of motion. Control the concentric and eccentric phases of motion.
Start your training at your current health and fitness levels. Increase intensity of your training in small, gradual, calculated increments.
Please contact emergency service if you feel faint or experience chest and arm pain while exercising.

Doc, I have done mri scan because of my lower back pain expecialy when I bow down, my Doc recommend that I visit your KZfaq channel for learning more about the exercise for fully recovered, thanks doc

If you have pain with flexion then these exercises are not for you. You should be doing extension exercises. Look for McKenzie Exercises instead. The first 4 should help.

I really needed this video. I've had LBP for a few years now and really hurts in extension. I was being prescribed exercises that aggravated it then finally figured out I should be doing these. Gonna do these every day

Hi Doctor, I was recommended Williams exercises for sciatica pain radiated to the leg due to pinched nerve by bulging disk at L4-5 or L5-S1.

The Williams Flexion exercises are usually recommended for a Lumbar Sprain/Strain. If I were you, I would try them on a consistent basis for the recommnded time frame. If I were you I would try them and see how they feel. Never perform an exercise that elicits or intensifies symptoms. Begin your training at your current health, fitness and strength levels. Increase intensity in small gradual calculated increments.

I don't understand your question. Do you mean the upper lumbar spine and lower thoracic spine? If you do, here are links to two stretches that I would perform to stretch that area. If I were you I would schedule an appointment with a Doctor of Chiropractic for evaluation, diagnosis and treatment. I would also continue to perform stretches that lessen the symptoms.

Concentric bulge with central inferior migration of the L4/L5 IVD causing narrowing of the lateral recesses and amputations of the bilateral exiting nerve roots ⚫ Central annular tear and midline prolapse of the L5/S1 IVD causing a prominent impression on the anterior CSF column How long we can do these exercises for this issue daily and how much time we do these exercises in one session.

The Williams Flexion Exercises are designed for muscle, tendon and joint issues. If I were you, I would try the McKenzie Extension Exercises for Lumbar Spine Disc issues. Here is a link to my video. MRILUMBOSACRAL SPINE(Plain) CLINICAL DATA: Backache radiating to right leg FINDINGS: ⚫ Dessicatory changes seen in the L4-51 IVDs ⚫ Concentric bulge with central inferior migration of the L4/L5 IVD causing narrowing of the lateral recesses and amputations of the bilateral exiting nerve roots ⚫ Central annular tear and midline prolapse of the L5/S1 IVD causing a prominent impression on the anterior CSF column Spinal cord is centrally placed and of normal width. It has homogeneous density and shows no circumscribed narrowing or expansion. The conus medullaris shows a normal position at L1 with normal subdivision into filaments. • The facet joints are unremarkable. Prevertebral and paravertebral soft tissues show normal morphology. IMPRESSION: 1. CONCENTRIC BULGE WITH CENTRAL INFERIOR MIGRATION L4/L5 IVD CAUSING NARROWING OF LATERAL RECESSES & AMPUTATIONS OF BILATERAL EXITING NERVE ROOTS 2. The McKenzie Extension Protocol is designed for Lumbar Disc issues. If I were you, I would try the McKenzie Extension Exercises for Lumbar Spine Disc issues.
