Windows 11: How to Fix Error We couldn't find a fingerprint scanner compatible with Windows Hello Fingerprint. Fix Fingerprint reader/scanner Not working after updating Windows 11, Fix Fingerprint Login Not Working on Windows 11, Fix Windows Hello Fingerprint Not Working In Windows 11
Step 1) Check power management settings
Right click your fingerprint reader device and choose Properties, go to the Power Management tab and uncheck Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
Lenovo Fingerprint, Synaptics , Goodix
Step 2) Restart Credential Manager service
Step 3) Disable and enable your fingerprint reader
Make a right click on Fingerprint device and click on disable device and then again make right click on click on Enable device.
Lenovo Fingerprint, Synaptics , Goodix
Step 4) Roll back the fingerprint sensor driver
Make a right click on Fingerprint device and select Properties, go to the driver tab and click on Roll back driver.
Step 5) Uninstall Fingerprint (Lenovo Fingerprint Manager Pro, Synaptics Fingerprint Driver, Goodix fingerprint) from device manager as well as apps and features. and then Download latest drivers for your fingerprint reader from system manufacturer’s website.
Open Device manager, make a right click on Fingerprint device and select Properties, go to the driver tab and click on uninstall.
Also uninstall Fingerprint driver from Apps and Features.
Restart your PC

Dell: www.dell.com/support
Step 6) Remove and recreate your Windows Hello Fingerprint
Step 7) Remove and recreate your Windows Hello PIN
Step 8) Update System BIOS
Step 9) Perform Windows Clean Boot
Step 10) Run SFC and DISM Command
sfc /scannow
dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
Step 11) Create a new local account and set up fingerprint

Wow thanks! I went through all the steps in your video and disabling all the Microsoft Services in System Config and the clean reboot did the trick. My fingerprint sensor had been completely missing so none of the previous fixes had worked.

I've been troubled by this problem recently, I found this video, followed it, and did everything the dude told me, my Biometric fingerprint also can't be seen, even after I downloaded it, until I found a solution, maybe you already solved the problem or found a person to fix I, or didn't even bother to do it anymore. However, I'll still say it just in case, you can add drivers in the Device Manager it's a symbol with a gear and an arrow, find and select the downloaded Driver in the Downloads folder, and you can see the Fingerprint Driver again.

None of these method worked for me. I once had the same issue and i remember fixing it by downloading some file and putting in some specific folder. but i don't remember what exactly that file was and I am not being able to find the site that helped me. I don't know what to do now.
