Somehow I've become addicted to watching these videos (especially the snow camping ones), I think it's the calm, chilled nature of them. Monty is awesome!

Add to chicken, yoghurt in a bag with paprika, garlic powder, chilli, butter or sunflower oil (25 g), salt, pepper, let it marinate in fridge for few hours before trekking out. Yoghurt will tenderize chicken and let the spices seep into meat. Grill. Great with tortilla and garlic mayo or guacamole or ketchup with hot sauce, serve with garlic butter potatoes and onions. What I like to do is mash up garlic and mix in butter, then refrigerate in bag, add in cut onions, great timesaver and you can freeze in advance. Great videos dude, love seeing Monty great dog. Simple videos, no ego, not selling gear, just simple camping, uncomplicated and down to earth...this is how it should be, simple clean fun. Keep it up dude

The best site on YT, and that's against some great opposition. I love your no frills approach to everything and that's a refreshing change. You and Monty keep on making your vids and I'll keep on watching them mate! Hell, if it wasn't for my age (70 next month) I'd go back to hitting the road and adventure time again. But I hope there will always be yours and Monty's adventures to distract me enough from trying it again....I wouldn't last ten minutes today!

I had a similar experience a few years ago with an owl. I was sitting around the fire by myself at night at deer camp and heard this strange call - like a screeching/yelling sound - about 100 yards behind me. It was a sound I've never heard before. The calls continued for a few minutes, then I started hearing coyotes howling and doing their thing. After a back and forth for a bit, the coyotes stopped their yipping, and I assumed, left the area. It took me about ten minutes to realize the initial sound I heard was an owl in his perch yelling at the coyotes telling them this was his territory. It was a startling, yet, awesome experience. Loved the video! Thanks.

Camp food is always the best. Took my kids car camping and took my Dutch oven and made lasagna.... have never found or made better since. that was over ten years ago too. I love the little fall at the end. Lol

Just a suggestion. Go ahead and put your spices on your chicken before you pack it up. That way the seasoning will get throughout the best and be perfect when ready to cook. Plus you won't have to worry about seasoning it when you get there. ( Just saves you a step)
