I apply positive reinforcement whenever someone behaves in a pleasing manner by giving them praise or attention. If someone mistreats me or is disrespectful, I apply negative reinforcement by correction or withdrawing my attention. It works pretty well with friends, employees, romantic interests, customers, and yes, dogs.

This is really true. I remember those first days I started trying to asked girls numbers face to face. I was shy and needy and yes, those girls lost interest even though I was one of the good looking guys in my high school. Overtime I practiced and talked to more girls and got more confident. Now I've been having a girlfriend for 4-5 months. It is really about practicing and putting yourself out there. Yes, exactly correct. Now here is a tip for you when you meet a new girl. This is brilliant & so true. I’ve experienced this exact thing in my last relationship. For 8 years I had an easy-going whatever attitude & she was in love with me, then she started testing me & I didn’t understand anything about women and relationships at the time. I failed her tests and she began to pull away & I made every needy desperate mistake in the book. Her attraction dropped & even though at one point she wanted to marry me, she broke up with me this past April. It devastated me but it also motivated me to study like hell about women & relationships. If only I had known then. Very sad.

This will also help with what he is talking about and that is to create more options for yourself.
